Ha ha ... good try Deepfiber ... but this synth was chosen 'by committee' ... and depending how things pan out with our synths being chosen by last placed in the comps, the 'by committee' method might never be used again ... still, it brings a whole new dimension to the challemge

are you saying that if my tune will only contain a sine (clipped of course talking anubis) I can actually be the one that deciedes the next synth? Well that that sounds fair or something.
It turned out the kittens mittens were hidden in the cats pyjamas all along.

Actually, I think dwsel chooses the next one and AbstractCats the following one but if you do particularly badly with Anubis you may be in with a chance for the one after that.DeepFiber wrote:are you saying that if my tune will only contain a sine (clipped of course talking anubis) I can actually be the one that deciedes the next synth? ... it's way too late to be progressing with my track ... Anubis in Madtracker FFS! ... but otherwise, I'll have to do something unproductive ...like go to bed

Sadly, I might have to pass with this one. I've got some work for this week to be done, and don't have enough time to fight with Anubis-thingy. The problem with assigning velocity to filter frequency is important issue for me especially because I was so eager to use modulation matrix. The composition I planned to be used in OSC14 starts taking shape, but at the same time I think it would look the best performed on piano or plucked string synth.

I'll sit this one out too. Anubis gave me too much trouble and the sound didn't do it for me either. But I'll definitely be checking out and scoring whatever entries there will be.
(or maybe I'll beat DeepFiber's sine curve entry to last place with some pink noise/feedback so I can choose synth for OSC 16..

Good stuff mac!! ... I almost have a track as well ... but the problem is not with Anubis, .. it's all about my masochistic deternination to do it in Madtracker!
.... if anything, it highlights how wonderful it was to discover FL ... and yet, I listen to stuff I did in MT all those years ago, and think 'wow! ... I suppoose its like when I was gigging in Spain, I quickly got the hang of speaking Spanish .. and got what/where I wanted .... send me back now, and I'm lost!
But I'll get there!
