I tried to program some ACE sounds using the digital waves that can be created with the help of the map generator.

Then I tried to use these in a little eighties style demo track.

For this style is very different from what I normally do, I apologize in advance for bothering you with a heavy dose of Kitsch

ACE Crystals

I used some convolution reverb from Cubase's Reverence for the drums and 2 ace sounds and some compression for the BD and bassline.

I've tried to improve the mix a little. Maybe someone has got time to listen to both and tell me of the mix below or the one from the first post is better.
Or, if none is good, what might be improved

Cool sounds and nice music.

I like the low mid and bass of the first mix while the high mids and highs of the second mix is easier on the ears.

Nice tune! I like the groove and most of the melodies. Also listened to both of the mixes, but the changes are too subtle for me to notice

Yeah... would have loved to come but d'oh...

I've heard that at least they managed to keep the noise level okay. So maybe I can have a booth next year again.

That's true, not everybody can afford the indescribable Messe hot dog. It's price didn't rise this year though, compared to last year. I traditionally ate one, like in the last 15 years, and, guess what, it was even worse than last year though I thought this were impossible
