i just purchased Sylenth 1 and am more than happy on this decision..

Hey Zork, just noticed your post, and that no one responded. :^(

I just bought Sylenth too. I have a few other analog-y plugins too -- Arp 2600 V, Ultra Analog, Poizone -- all have some great qualities. I resisted Sylenth for a while cuz it doesn't have a ton of features; but the sheer sound of it kept pulling me back. Am I ever glad I jumped on it; it sounds so fresh and smooooth.

Wishing us both much carefree creation with this superior synth!

especially love it for bass right now..

seems like this comunity in here is not pretty active..

I think everyone has moved on as Lennard doesn't seem interested anymore. It is now nearly 18 months since the memory leak bug was reported and still no update/fix!

So far I haven't noticed any problems, but I'll keep an eye open.
Do I understand right that simply closing and reopening the plugin will "reset" the memory usage?

As far as i understand it every reopening of the plugin is making it worse! So if you want to make some changes to the sound and open the gui of Sylenth1 again, MORE memory is used.

Yep that's true, although the memory usage is quite minimal, but could be a problem with big projects.

Why don't you run along and shut the F*** up? Such a cheap shot regurgitating boring old dross. Does it affect the performance of your machine? NO. Why not just let the OP enjoy his new purchase like the rest of us satisfied customers, who are in the massive majority?

No! Do NOT close the GUI if you are low on memory.
