Hey folks,

the alpha is here ;). MDrummer 3.01 (Small & Large) has just been released and is finally available for Mac OS X. Here you cat get it:

http://www.meldaproduction.com/mdrummer/download.php

MDrummer Small must be downloaded as new installer. MDrummer Large users can download updater from

http://www.meldaproduction.com/mdrummer/downloadl.php

Update manager had to be renewed because of the Mac OS X stuff. Finally note that MDrummer fo Mac OS X is available only as plugin (no standalone version) and AU version does not provide MIDI output.

Cheers!

Hi Vojtech,

Is there ONE location at your Website (or a Multi Installer) where I can download several of your Plugins? I am moving to a new Laptop and will need to Download a lot of Installers.

Thank you,

DH :)
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

Well, it doesn't belong here :). But you can download MTotalBundle if you are owner. If not, I'm afraid you'll have to download each plugin you own separately.

Hi Vojtech

I just tested Mdrummer 3.01 and i noticed that i've now got double entries for all the effects in the Drumset Editor/ Drum effects section and the same goes for the drum synthesis types in Drumset Editor/ Layer Source.
Also none of the templates show up in the 4NN templates window.

I'm on windows 7 64 but running reaper 34 bit.

Hi Pendle,

please try to run MDrummerConfig. It should fix the problems.

Cheers!

Hi,

I tried this update (downloaded the entire executable) and I must say I'm impressed at the sound quality and playability of this plugin.

At present I have 3x trigger boxes all merged into one midi stream, eg "I'm here" messages are filtered out and this seems to be very consistent in how it handles a constant flow of data.

Moreover it appears to offer a many-staged velocity response which is what I need but I can see or rather hear that more can be done.

I will make a thread later regarding improvements to the application but so far a very big improvement on earlier versions. Also, the installer is more streamlined but a bit confusing that it cannot work standalone.

One other thing is did it always have individual volumes for each sound?

Thank you and regards

Post

Thanks! I'm glad you like it ;).

It cannot work as standalone on Mac OS X, because Apple is making our lives mysery and since it is so problematic already and standalone version is probably not much used, we decided to leave it. I hope you don't mind too much.

And yes, it always had individual volumes ;).

Cheers!

I was talking about the additional .dat files or whatever they were that are needed in order to configure the installer.

The new installer is great, two options less confusing, I like that distinct x86 and x64 versions, very good.

One other thing...

... why doesn't Mdrummer detect the default VST folder in steinberg products?

Post

I doesn't detect it? Ok, so what is your VST plugins directory?
You know it detects it from predefined options, so yours probably isn't there.
