what have i missed ??
It may be an automatic thing since the orginal deadline has passed. If the counter is closed, Squids will give us the update. And don't worry, we'll go over 500!chroma wrote:is that final number going to change? The esoundz page right now says the group buy is closed (though you can still buy it).
That kit reminds me of 70's Fleetwood Mac. Dreams on the Rumors album? I think you could get that with these kits.ebow wrote:anyone heard the abbey road 70's kit![]()

that 'tight kit' is the sound i'm after.....
i'm wondering how close i can get to that sound with this new gb
Not very authentic. They recorded the kits on oriental carpets. Should have been shag.ebow wrote:anyone heard the abbey road 70's kit![]()

What do you think Squids?
so , we're after the same type of thing....i wonder if we can't mimic that kit between ourselves and the uber amounts of samples we havestandalone wrote:ebow wrote:anyone heard the abbey road 70's kit![]()

Just the other day I was listening to that and was thinking I should choose the "Retro Soul" multi-track kit to get that sound......and also some claps, of course.
Yeah, I'm after the Fleetwood Mac sound now too. I think it's perfectly doable with the multi-track kits, even if you got to import the toms from one MT-kit to another.ebow wrote:so , we're after the same type of thing....i wonder if we can't mimic that kit between ourselves and the uber amounts of samples we havestandalone wrote:ebow wrote:anyone heard the abbey road 70's kit![]()

When I knew about the new NI 70's drums I thought "oh my, there goes my money again". But, after listening to the demos, my impression was that it all can be done with our SR drums.
