i hear ya....my issue is that i can't play them.....i switch back and forth between the squids demo and the NI tight kit demos.....to my ear, the snare in EPIK, and kit in general is a lot more 'toppy'......blueman wrote:Abbey Road is its own animal. A good deal of their equipment is hand-made "EMI" gear if I am not mistaken? Also, their rooms have a unique tone. If you want THAT sound, I would just go for the NI kit. No sense disappointing yourself with a mimicked "in the feel of" when you could have vintage style drums actually recorded AT Abbey Roadebow wrote:anyone heard the abbey road 70's kit![]()

KEEP THEM man, thats what you will need to install them again if you ever have a HD fail or need to reinstall your OS!! Or you could always DL them again but that would suck!!!megadude wrote:very dumb question
after downloading the zips and dragging the zip files into the Infinite Installer, do I still need to keep the original zip files or can I delete them from my harddrive. (i know that I wasn't supposed to unzip the files myselfs -- just need to know if I have to keep the zips around after everything.)
I am pretty suer this IP installer is the same as the last one that was fixed, so no need to re-download it!!megadude wrote:also is the new installer up to correct the file/folder heirachy issue? is that an issue for both PCS and Macs?
or get the backup DVDs... then you can delete them off of your hard drive. You don't need them after you've finished installing. And the DVDs are free this time (well, you pay $10 for shipping)...jarrydee wrote:KEEP THEM man, thats what you will need to install them again if you ever have a HD fail or need to reinstall your OS!! Yup, you could do that to (dvd)..i would just get a external HD, I keep all my plugins on one external HD and, I just unplug it when not in use, has lasted me many years!!chroma wrote:or get the backup DVDs... then you can delete them off of your hard drive. Not aware of that issue? All I know is that in the very beginning of the 1st GB the IP installer had a little problem so they released a new one a few days after the GB...I have no clue about any other problems and I don't know what "file/folder heirarchy" is!megadude wrote:jarrydee wrote:I am pretty suer this IP installer is the same as the last one that was fixed, so no need to re-download it!!megadude wrote:also is the new installer up to correct the file/folder heirachy issue? is that an issue for both PCS and Macs?

In the USD1 thread a couple ppl that buy things frequently from esoundz said that all their esoundz files stayed in their my soundz for YEARS. So I would delete them and then if ya get the time and a DVD, then go ahead and dl and burn em'.megadude wrote:very dumb question
