The thing is these people have ADD when it comes to updates. They expect an update every month...

I think we're being conditioned by seeing constant updates/upgrades for almost everything these days. Mostly a $$$ push by developers to keep their stuff current(novel) and bolster sales.

As for updates/upgrades - Less is more IMO

There is no way I am reading all of this, yet I get where it is coming from. This is and all ways has been about the memory leak, dramatically effecting users for well over a year, a simple-simple acknowledgments once or twice from the company is not a fix. If you are one of the chosen ones lets say who is not effected by this then great. Then you do not get it and I do not want your sympathy either.

After not using this synth for ages because of how the bug bugged me, I have started again, because there is no other synth like it for the sounds I want to work with. I bought Rob Lee's dance sounds for it, and now I think with the other synths I have, I may never need another for what I produce. If Lennard never updates, adds new features or sounds I would not care, I almost considered getting Orion, demoed it the other day as a new DAW hoping the GUI bug would not be effected on that DAW. This synth is very nice, all I want is it to work like every other Sylenth1, other people have. It seems like ignoring the minority effected by this because the majority is not was the business model. I know nothing of coding but can not imagine it would take over a year. Seriously, I don't want any other feature or update, just make it work like it does for everyone else. So, we can all play nice.

I so do not want to post, the force draws me in, as I read other post that are not necessarily fair to those with a legitimate argument, the memory leak. Sure, they way they express themselves is not all ways polite, that should be toned down.

it's stupid to say that you need to see Lennard acting here to buy the product
i will give two examples :
1- a customer who can not communicate in english can use paypal and buy a very good product
2- a developer who can not communicate in english can still code a very good synth (synth1) and be downloaded by a lot of people
you are just unfair toward Lennard by writing false rumor

This is not about Lennard he is probably very nice. Seriously a lot of people are posting and acting like the costumers who need this bug fixed are demanding and want constant updates. I am not and said I do not care if it never gets updated again, just the bug fix, please. Do not put me in the fray of those that that question his character because that is not what I do, I question the company, and a bug fix taking over a year is odd.

The synth is advertised as low cpu, there is no fine print, that follows. And believe me it is hard to make music when your computer freezes because of the bug. Last post regarding this synth ever, cool. Except to compliment preset sets that some designer sell and I get.

In 1998. Roland produced MC-505 Groovebox. In 2004. I bought it second hand and started making my music by using only this synth - nothing else. Last SM cards for it were produced in 1999. - they were tough to get in 2004. now there aren't any.

No updates for that synth since 1999. It's card reader died in 2009 and it was time to move on. It was a lot of fun, I made many friends around the world, played many live gigs in Croatia and Serbia, with my trusty ole 505 beating on the stage with me, making people happy .

Now its Macbook, Ableton Live 8 and Sylenth1 (purchased 2 months ago). Getting the grip on new technology and finding the new way to go. It is a great sounding synth and making music is just fun with or without updates, who cares . I never asked Roland for anything, why should I bother Lennarddigital ?

Just my 2c, good luck to all

P.S. just to put it in perspective, I play electronic/experimental music since 1984, no formal music education, had many hardware synths, been in a few bands, worked part time in a local studio as programmer, but I make money for my living in IT bussines. Never looked at mysef as musician, just love making sounds and getting on the stage .

Please tell me ..what is it all about this memory leek???...i have used sylenth in Live on a pc, sometimes from 4 to 6 instances on just as many tracks. I have never observed any problems in doing so..so where and when could i eventually run into problems because of that memory leek
