Still serious issues with Artillery and Effectrix

I've tested both these plugins on two systems, and both STILL have all sorts of pops and clicks when effects are activated. I honestly can't understand how this is not being heard by anyone else, let alone the designers. Seriously, these are great innovative ideas, but until they can be implemented to a higher quality, to me they're still toys, and i cant take them seriously.
As I said, ive tested on 2 system,
XP, Ableton 7, Rme Fireface 400
OS X 10.5.8, Pro Tools 8.0.1cs1, RTAS to VST Wrapper
Lots of ram etc etc
Both systems are fully funtioning audio machines, used for professional recording and production.
Running just a single instrument through (violin, guitar etc) either of these plugins, and toggling the effects, there are pops and clicks almost 100% of the time with certain effects (eg. x-loop in Effectrix). And I get the exact same results on both systems.
And yes I set the attack and decay slopes.
To me this is just unacceptable for any serious usage. I REALLY hope Sugar Bytes can deal with this, and take these plugins to a higher level.

Can you send us a project where this is reproducible. We spent a lot of afford to make all effects clickfree.
Best,
Robert

I think what you're looking at here is a bug that's probably due to something else in your system configuration. I think it's one thing to be mad about a bug, and another to deal out unfair below-the-belt criticism, claiming that the software is "lower-level quality" and a "toy".gwok wrote: To me this is just unacceptable for any serious usage. Needless to say, I use Effectrix extensively on two rigs and have NEVER had the problem you describe.
I hope you find the cause behind the clicks you're experiencing, but I also think it's in poor taste to generously portion out the blame before you know all the facts. And again, I admire the patience and restraint of developers in replying to irate customers who, instead of contacting the developer directly, seem to think a public post is a better idea. I think my head would explode if I had to deal with that on a regular basis.

I concede your point ariston, and I do apologize to the the Sugar Bytes team. Understand my only goal is to help things move forward, and from my experience, these plugins as wicked as they are, (and yes i may be wrong), still have some lurking issues.
As you say, these issues for you do not occur, though, I do feel that the types of signals run though the plugins and the effect used with it have a big impact in their occurance. And to be honest, to have the same issues occur on two systems, both fully stable rockin audio computers with many apps and plugins working perfectly, over time it keeps coming back to the plugin.
Robert - please let me know what exactly you would like me to send. Pro Tools project/ableton projects, or audio samples.
As I've said in the past, I do think these plugins are total sickness, and if I'm wrong about these issues, I'll gladly eat my words - though if I'm right..., then I'm glad to help - g

Having said this, I'm sure I'll now encounter the issues you mentioned - it's happened to me before, with Reaper.gwok wrote: As I've said in the past, I do think these plugins are total sickness, and if I'm wrong about these issues, I'll gladly eat my words - though if I'm right..., then I'm glad to help - g
Hope you get it sorted out!

Please send me an ablton project + the related wave file.
Make the project as simple and small as possible.
One track with the wav and Effectrix processing it.
Best,
Robert
