Perhaps is it possible to add comment on songs (educational) like in Fruity loops?

The Cappuccino session does include an info text filejanamdo wrote:Thanks very nicemutools wrote:http://www.mutools.com/mulab-demo-sessions.html

It's up to the creator of the session whether he/she wants to include an info file.

Feature request for 4.x: Text events. This would let you add lyrics or other textual material to a sequence. Not sure on the user interface...

I'd still really love some sort of feature for adding project notes. I know a blank .txt is only a few clicks away, but it still breaks the flow quite a bit if you're needing to refer it often -- e.g. when you've done a guitar tab for something in the project and you need it on screen.

Hi All,
I understand that this topic is really about MU.LAB having a facility to embed text within the actual project. But until the day comes that MU.LAB provides these kind of functions I use ProXL VstNotes the free version.
Put "vstnotes" into Google and check it out.
You can put it into all of your racks and it works like an insert effect but does not get in the way of the audio signal.
So you can have just one VstNote in your project or one per rack etc.
I personally use this, but there are a few other VST note apps out on the internet also.
Anyway this may help some users in the meantime.

Hi All,
I remember that a topic came up some time ago and Jo mentioned a way to store text in a preset.
So taking this idea a bit further I did this:
Create a text file using notepad or similar and store it on your C:\ drive.
a) Insert a MUX in slot 1 of Rack A - (from the "Devices" menu in "Effects")
b) Rename the MUX to INFO.
c) You should now have Rack A with "INFO" in slot 1
d) Click on the arrow next to "INFO" (MUX) Switch to deep editor in the MUX
e) Click on "Options"
f) Click on "Set Preset Info Text"
g) Navigate to your text file.
h) Then "Switch to Play Editor"
i) Save your session.
The text is now embedded in the session and this session can now be sent anywhere in the world.
1) Open the session you saved.
2) Click on the arrow next to INFO in Rack A
3) Click on "Options"
4) Click on "Show Preset Info"
And now you should see the text in a pop-up box.
Using this method you can send static notes to other users. Remember that the text has been imported into the session so you do not need the original text file.
I have tried this between two PCs and it works fine.
So using this method and VstNotes you have two ways to store text style data in the meantime.
Try it yourself and hopefully it works and my instructions are good enough for others to follow.

Smart workaround, but while it's got the advantage of better integration, it's a bit of an ache to do, and as i understand it you've gotta repeat the process every time you want to modify the text.
As far as plugins for the job go, I use trackpad3 due to the image and interactive fretboard features, but it's still not as portable or as integrated as a simple project notes feature. In common sense terms, the mpa, racks or mux modules is the wrong place for this sort of info as well.
