I had a quick test of your beta, I would not focus so much on the top cover, at least let the hidden parameters be visible all the time to make the interface a bit more intresting.
Best regards from Johan Brodd.

but I'd like to know if it works in other hosts. So this (and any other feedback) is very much appreciated.
Wow, what a great and authentic sound (to my ears) !!!
Thanks a lot for this very very nice and well made instrument.

It seems to work well in Cubase 5 (on Windows XP).

I have only a very small complain: I am unable to read the really tiny numbers on the drawbars (old man and old eyes here ;))

Best regards

That old red Farfisa Compact sure brings back some memories!!! Would make a great kin project! (hint, hint)

This Vox Conty sim sounds great!!! Would love some lower registers, larger drawbar info, and an added volume control. But the sound is right on!!!

i had one of those farfisa compacts and sold it about 5 years ago.. silly me

Very nice little organ instrument. It seemed to fit right in to an old classic Blues/funk tune by Eddie Harris ....

Cold Duck Time (MP3)

Thanks for the plugin.

I already have a bunch of organs, but I will immediately add yours to my VST directory, cause I think it sounds very good, and "different".

Thank you!

Wow, this sounds absolutely great. There is one minor problem(?), the sound of attack/release contains some strange digital-like (at least to my ears) click. I guess this is not contact emulation, because it can be heard even when attack/release faders are set to 0.

And, btw, the demo song is very nice, the sound and also playing style is undistinguishable to me from The Doors recordings  . What is in the effect section in the full mix, I guess some kind of ampsim?

At the moment the virtual tone generator board don't generate the lower frequencies needed, but it could be accomplished. Perhaps I could add a Connie II/Super Connie style monophone bass octave.
Mac of BIOnighT wrote:An odd behavior it displayed: in Cubase's mixer, I have a stereo channel where only the left channel works and a simultaneous second stereo channel (apparently with the same sound) with a mono signal... no big deal, I can just mute the first and use the second, but I thought you'd like to know.
Yeah, I do want to know, thanks. ComboV is mono internally, but I report both mono and stereo outputs to the host (because else in FL Studio it would only sound on the left channel). Perhaps I should report only stereo.

There already is a volume adjust in the Tuning/Settings window. Perhaps I should widen its range?

Thanks for letting me know.

Cool, and great playing BTW. I don't suppose I can add this to the audio demos on the ComboV webpage?

Each key has 4 contact points. When a key is depressed the contacts won't sound all at once, but rather one after another. Each of the 4 contact points will generate a short click (contact bounce) when it makes contact. The attack/release settings (and note velocity) control the total maximum time in which all 4 contacts are made, but the settings don't control the click sounds. I think your "digital-like click" is simply the key click, which is rather realistic, I think (comparing it to downloaded recordings of real Connies).

Yeah, that's the Vox AC30 and spring reverb sim from Native Instruments B4-II.

As for the GUI: I will look into it. Perhaps I should replace the current Tuning/Settings window with a "zoomed control view", in which the drawbars and all settings fill the screen?

Post

Maybe just place all the controls on a single screen, after all there's not that many controls.

Post

Any chance of AU release? It sure sounds lovely
