I think we're all used to that dialog box by now.

No shit, I get it every second install. :D Once or twice, I tried to fathom how the little microsquash elf dude sitting in my notebook could get the impression that a perfectly normal operation went awry, but I decided not to bother.

I can see how you'd want to circumvent support q&a like "why is my screen black?" - "did you turn it on?", though.

I'd be happy to take it without the Installer. Unzip and place in my VST Folder if that's possible.

+1 on the Install Errors with windows 7.
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

yes, I appreciate the enthusiasm. But we are running a company and we have a large user base now, and some of it is not quite as sophisticated as you guys here. So we like to do things thoroughly now....

anyway, we have fixed it, so you will definitely get an email later today.

If it's any help - Most installers come up with this on my system. I just always click that it's installed OK. ;-)

I've encountered this in roughly a third of the installers I've used for Windows 7 64-bit. I usually follow the re-install directions, but occasionally I haven't and I haven't noticed any runtime issues either way. I think it's a premissions issue; it might not happen if the installer is installed by right-clicking on it and selecting "Run as administrator".

Responsibility - I applaud you Sir. I might just shell out the cash and buy that fancy reverb plug-in of yours afterall :)

Oh well .. the 12th April has come and gone and still nothing.
To say I'm disappointed with the perpetually extended release date
would be an understatement.

This is turning into a saga of broken promises.
Is there some problem you're not telling us about?
Still 14th by my count..

I think they have another 9 years or so until they go Duke Nukem....
