unable to activate Guitar Rig3 and kontakt3 on receptor?

Hi all.
I just tried to activate my KOMPLETE bundle as shipped with my receptor.
All packages seem to have been activated fine, except for Guitar Rig3 and
Kontakt3.
These just don't show up in the "Service Center" list. In fact, SC happily reports that "all packages have been activated". If I now instantiate either GR3 or Kontakt, I get the usual Demo30minutes/Activate/Quit dialog box.
To be clear, the shipped Service Center kept on misbehaving on my receptor. Therefore I downloaded the SC update as offered on Muse's updates page.
I also tried editing the /program files/native instruments/service center/conf/TargetCache.xml file and add entries for both programs, but to no avail.
Does anybody have an idea how to get SC to see kontakt3 and Gr3 and incorporate them in the activation process?
Thanks in advance,
Octotonic

Hi there. I have EXACT same problem. NI says they have no support for third part stuff like Receptor. I also have no idea what to do next. Anyone does?

I just noticed that the Native Instruments apps as listed under the "user Installable Premium Plug-ins" for Receptor, Kontakt 2 is listed but not Kontakt 3. Maybe this means that Kontakt 3 will not work with Receptor. Hmmmm.

For all those wondering about registration problems and K5:
The short answer is that these plugins don't work for authorizations because the service center version being used is too old. Service Center keeps an internal database of the NI plugin version numbers that where around when that version was made if in any plugins are newer than that it won't be able to see them. The process to update service center varies depending on what you have installed already and whether or not your using a Receptor 1 or Receptor 2, so all those experiencing this issue should open a uspport ticket at www.plugorama.com/hd.php so we can provide instructions that work different individual cases.
