Artillery 2 and the "!" button...can you midi map it?

The '!' is indeed not midi learnable. It's more meant to be a panic button then a useable feature. I wonder in which circumstance you would need it ?
The midi message 'all note off' should do the same if you can send it.

It's useful in a live setting. For example, you can use Artillery for effects on a song, layer different effects on the build up, then when the beat comes in, hit the '!' button to go completely dry. If you've got 5 effects layered, it'll be hard to untoggle all 5 at once, especially if they're at opposite ends of the keyboard.
I'll see if I can send 'all note off' midi message.

Thanks but this will only shut off the effects, and not reset all notes to 'off'.chas48155 wrote:you could also just map the "on"/"off" button of the plugin to a midi controller. i do this in Live to switch effects VSTs on and off. see image below:
