Ok, getting there slowly, in between communications re. the film soundtrack .... while your waiting, some of you have asked for a peek/listen, and now you can view the whole film .... its a lo res version, and the music still needs a bit of syncing, but here's the link.

http://www.tenementghost.co.uk .... click on the tab 'screener'

enjoy!

Hmm .. a track has appeared entitled 'Anubis contest' .... no artist name, and no accompanying txt file .... have I missed something? ... Ach, what the hell it's in the zip file now, so its in the comp ... be nice if someone could put a name to it, and maybe even upload the appropriate text file ... until then it will be written as 'Anubis Contest - anon' .. :hihi:

Just about to upload the voting thread ...

Just finished watching the film - both the story and the soundtrack are very fascinating!! I particularly love the theme that's first heard when they are back home after the honeymoon. Nice work, all of you!!!

Thanks very much Mac :) ... though I have to say I'm a teensy bit frustrated that the sync is not quite what it should be ... it kinda drifts as the film progresses... but I'm sure this will be sorted out.

I dont know what the deal is yet re whether we sell the soundtrack album or do free downloads ... it's like we dont play live often enough to sell our stuff, so in some ways it might as well be released for free .... However, when you've worked solid for a month with no days off on a project, and have a graphic artist doing your sleeve who has worked with artists such as Hawkwind, was part of the team who laid out the cardboard cutouts on the Sgt Pepper album, and produced material for OZ magazine, it seems odd not to make a bit of cash out of it :? or maybe it seems odd to want to make some cash :ud: ... we'll see what happens ... its all good for the soul :)

.... aaaaaaaanyway!!! .... back on topic, the voting thread is up, and I hope you like the fact that I've gone slightly more flexible re. the voting than the simple 1 vote poll :)

Ops... I'm sorry, it was my song... I don't think I've understand everything about the contest... I think it's a bit late now... maybe I'll do better next time (I've added a text...)

I think so... the contest is over http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 01#4057101 ;)
Too bad, you got no votes, but not because of the song, simply because nobody knew who you were and all was unverifiable...
C'mon, try the next one http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... sc&start=0 you still have plenty of time for that one! :)

Post

OK vanmorrison, too late for some things, but in the nick of time for the e-album!! :) ... Do you want to be credited as vanmorrison? want a piccie on the sleeve? I have your weblinks on your track pop up, and a excerpt from a review, but if theres any info/images you want on there, get it to me quick!! :)
