I searched, but could not find the following information:
How to send a channel or two, to a separate send, so that a drummer, or other person could have specific control over their own volume of what I send.
An important fact is that I do not wish to change my own mix/use of these channels - using the Main left & Right Outs; I simply need to Send specific channels elsewhere as well
How to achieve Separate Sends/Outs

JayVee, you could use the sends on the applicable Receptor channels 1-16 (containing the audio you want the other person to hear), sending that audio to Bus 1 and/or 2 and then routing B1/B2 to ADAT or SPDIF outputs (which would have to be converted to analog, obviously) using the Output matrix at the bottom of the channels on the GUI. I think you would want to use the pre-fader send option on the individual channels in this scenario ("PRE" buttons).
Alternatively, you could just route the output of the channels the other person wants to hear directly to the ADAT/SPDIF outputs (in addition to the main outs for you) by using the Output matrix.
If you need to use all the channel sends and both submix busses just to support what you hear, I guess another option would be to set up another channel(s) for each instrument the other person wants to hear. In this case, in the Source selector for those new channels, select the Plugin Audio Feed for the plugin you want to send to him/her. For ex., if you have a synth in Receptor channel 1, in a new Receptor channel pick the audio output from that synth as the source for that new channel under the Plugin Audio Feed heading on the source selector page. Again, route the new Receptor channels to the appropriate digital outputs with the Output matrix.
That's about all I can think of. Good luck!

I recently had sound-card trouble (it's been fixed) but my immediate fix was using a MOTU 828 and taking the SPIDF out, into the 828 to convert the sound back to 1/4" outs...
Long story short - I still keep the 828 rack in my rig (just in case...) now, based on your explanation, I think I have a new use for it ~ I'm programing for a new show, but I'll check this solution out soon.
Much thanks!
