We called them last week, they said the discs were in the mail. Apparently the mail is slow, as we haven't received them.

We're thinking the dll that ships with the discs will work fine, but we can't test it without the data, and we can't get the data without the discs... so there you have it. Come on USPS!

Not that it helps, but we're confident it will all work just fine. I'm loving Omnisphere... what a great program... and by the way, we have posted the factory patches in Receptor form, so you'll definitely want to install those if you're running Omnisphere...

We showed it at the NAMM show, and it definitely works. We are waiting for a new "receptorized" DLL from Spectrasonics, they apparently have improved some performance aspects of Trillian on Receptor (yeah!) and they told us at the show that it would happen shortly after they release the new version of Omnisphere / Trillian.

That just happened, so we're expecting that we will hear from them very soon. Shouldn't be too much longer; thanks for your patience.

Thanks!

Just to clarify on the Trillian installation process... Did you install Trillian on your computer first then transfer the files over onto the Receptor? I just got my Receptor 2 Total Workstation and successfully installed Omnisphere. I'd love to put Trillian on there as well but I'm unsure about the process...and where do I find the Trillian.dll for Receptor on spectrasonics site? Thanks a million for helping me out

Hi Dr. K.

It looks like Spectrasonics removed their Receptor Trillian image since I first posted. The version I have running on my Receptor 2 is 1.1.4c. It's been a while since I installed this now, but I believe I did a typical unsupported plugin install (eg. from another computer, I copied all of the files over into the unsupported folder, hit the "install plugins" button on the system tab). This should run the authorizer - and I think I copied/pasted auth codes from a Mac/PC using Receptor remote.

This version has been running great for me. Typically patches load (relatively) fast, and sound wonderful. I was just messing around with some of the Synth patches, and turning them polyphonic. Pretty powerful synth engine in there. The only thing I haven't been able to do is PWM. There are sampled pulses, and you can 'fake' it by modulating waveform symmetry, but it just isn't the same.

Good Luck,
Kevin L
