Hey BlueCat, just a thumbs up on the dynamics plug. Got to use expander mode on reshaping a few electric bass tracks, love the time and response control option flexibilities- worked out great.

Thank you for your feedback :). Do you mind if we quote your comment on the plug-in page?

Not at all.
Sunday I found (and relearned!) an interesting distinction, again in applying expansion.
Where the more typical lower curve had worked wonderfully reducing the legato' style on a bass track, a similar 'tack failed expanding the top end dynamics on a saturated rhythm/lead guitar. The difference (and lesson) I believe is in that the guitar needed to have the bottom end of its dynamic left alone. Enter the upper curve(!)and where your ratio also extends into expansion. Fantastic. 8)

So, so far I've really barely gotten into the plug and have just begun extending it to the master bus as well.
..edit--This was wrong- User error  >A short plug here then.. If I had my preference, it would be to have the output make-up gain half db steps if only to facilitate closer A/B comparisons. In general, but I noticed this on the master in particular, it is good to compare the effect of dynamics in accurate relative loudness.
Any way, well done!

Yes it's indeed important to compare with similar loudness. Did you know that keeping the shift key pressed while moving the knob (ou the mouse wheel) will give you .1 dB steps?

Hah! I was just coming back to correct that bit about the output level, I see text entry allows plenty of fine control. And shift', thank you.
