Hehe. Seriously, do yourself a favour and download chrome: http://www.google.com/chrome
Try it, give it a little time, there's no way you can't like it ;) It's stable, it's fast as lightning, intuitive, clean and I just love it how you can enter search queries just in the address bar directly ! (and I didnt even mention how you can drag tabs out of the window and how each tab runs in its own process)

Post

I just read about it at Wikipedia, says it's the 3rd most used browser, that many people cant be wrong.

Firefox is pretty good as well, it has a bit more options but I find it slower. Anyway, I dont want to turn this thread into a browser fanboy one ;) Try either Chrome or Firefox, they both are way better than IE.

That's cool, I get the advice it is relavent sense some people cant get their zip to open, thanks.

They should be able to send a link in an email which you can open on any PC.

Hi Lennard,

does this extended to vstpresets? and if not, could you make it so? A lot of my custom patches are saved that way..

I'm off to see if it works...

if sylenth1 had a proper preset browser

Post

Thanks! I'm excited, especially about the new presets.
A little tip to those looking for the presets.
A common mistake is to think that the four "banks" A B C D is the four factory banks. It took some time for me too. But you should go to menu --> load bank and you will see that there are three more factorybanks available, each with different presets for all the slots in A B C D.

ah man, some of those new presets are beautiful. they really show off some of the power of sylenth. i feel like i'm falling in love again

Post

Would someone please clarify what the file type is that is Dl'd?
After unzipping (using 7-zip) I have a file called Sylenth1v221BetaWin32 (size 5421 KB, dated 28/04/10), I guess this is an executable as it is similar in size to the original install application.
Thanks
Don

The problem should be fixed now.

I'm afraid not, vstpreset files save the entire bank, not just the selected preset. It's better not to use vstpresets at all, just use Sylenth1's preset saving an loading functionality instead.
