On a MacbookPro 2.8ghz 10.6.2
LiveLite8.0.10 & Garageband5.1
While moving XY knobs around, I'm getting crashes in both LiveLite, and Garageband.
It happens sometimes twice a day.
The audio cuts out, then 3 seconds later it crashes out of these programs.
Playing and moving the knobs at the same time, is when it happens.
I'm doing a lot of XY assignments right now.
If you need a crash log, let me know and I'll send it.

I believe I found a solution to this problem, in case someone at sometime who uses a wacom tablet with the XY pads, and has frequent crashes.
The problem is my wacom tablet is too old, and it's got rough bumps in areas of the tablet were I always have the gui xy pads located. In the center of the screen.
So I found out by moving the position of Zebra's gui to the left side of the screen, which changed the position of where I use the pen to move xy knobs, and where no pitting or bumps are at on my tablet.
One full day of working on it like that and no crashes yet.
I have to replace the tablet though as there is pitting now where the xy4 pad is located. I wonder if I can just get a replacement surface for it, as they ain't cheap.
This problem happened in 2 different daws, so it was not related to the daw software. I was getting about 2-3 crashes a day whenever I used xy pads a lot.
The problem was increasing over time too, so I think it's the tablet that's the cause.

This crashing started happening again.
I just hope I if I buy a new wacom tablet the problem does go away.
I'm going to buy a mac compatible mouse and see if the problem still happens when using a mouse.
I don't even have a mouse here to check it. Not one that works with a mac anyway.
I will email you the crash reports anyway Urs, in case the problem might be related to the XY pads compatibility with using drawing tablets.

Wow...I fixed this problem simply by throwing the Wacom preferences out.
Simple as that...fixed.
They didn't show up as corrupt in my machelpmate validation thing, but I believe they were. I also re-calibrated the tablet and cleaned it thoroughly.
No crashing after 3 days of heavy xy pad programing.
