Thanks for the info. I guess FL Studio is just stealing "painting" when something is being recorded. Well, it's recording say 200 parameters, which is a lot
, so... I'll check though.

Vojtech, you have completely broken these plugins in FL Studio. I've just opened the song i'm working on, pushed play, and the multiband delay is all over the place.
I have three automation envelopes active.
The wet/dry envelope is acting as it should. No problems.
The band2/tap1 gain envelope is doing nothing.
The band2/tap2 gain envelope is affecting the tap1 feedback!
I don't know what else is wrong with the plugins, but there's probably more, looking at that. I don't have time to look.
I think you need to put these plugins out for beta testing or something, before you release. The time i've spent trying to track down issues is starting to build up, and i don't want to be a beta tester, i'm a paying customer.
Back to the old version for me... again.

sorry for that, I'll check what's wrong. Anyway can you please just submit the preset you are using (Settings/Submit), ideally in the previous version. I would load it and find what's wrong.

So AL, I checked and seems that settings are imported without problems, however you already pointed the trouble out actually - there were some parameters added and some VST hosts seem not to store automation channels using names, but rather indexes. Therefore these added parameters basically changed the indexes. The modulators and everything other in the plugin is fine, because the plugin uses names for everything to avoid compatibility problems.
Unfortunately this cannot be fixed on our side, and guys from FL Studio will not fix it either, because I doubt they will be willing to change the system to make it more compatible. In fact, Cubase uses indexes as well...
So you have 2 choices:
A) Stick with the previous version.
B) Fix the channel attachement - when you know it's Band1/Delay, just attach it.
Sorry for that, I just don't think right now about any logical solution

Well AL, now I think there could be a solution, but it is god damn ugly
, so I'd like to do that only if absolutely necessary. So how bad it is? I mean most people use automation only from time to time, but if you have 100 projects with it, that would be a massacre.

Dude, do you realize that's like saying that FL Studio and Cubase users are no longer entitled to updates and bugfixes?MeldaProduction wrote: A) Stick with the previous version.
Well i think it stands to reason that the people who like your plugins are also the type of people that like to automate things.MeldaProduction wrote:So how bad it is?
For me, it's actually not as bad as it could've been. I'm working on 4 or 5 projects at the moment, so hopefully it will only take an hour or two to fix this. But it shouldn't be just about me. There are many people out there who are trying to earn a living out of making music, and things like this will cost them time, which costs them money.
And for the record, this isn't the first time something like this has happened. When you added the extra sync settings in the delay (1/256 etc), that also changed the plugin, and i had to go through my tracks changing things back to 1/8 etc.
So really, i think you need to pay more attention to backwards compatability, if you want to build a solid customer base. I really like these plugins, but i'm already using them less often than i used to, because i'm worried you're gonna do something to screw up my tracks again. And this update has proved me right.
At some point, you're gonna have to say that these plugins are done, and ready to be used by professionals. Which they are. This is the time you should be stepping back and thinking about marketing or whatever. Not constantly changing the structure, and pissing off existing customers.
So the bottom line for me... yes i can fix this, but i really shouldn't have to. At some point soon, i'm hoping to earn money from my music, and i need to seriously think about whether i can use your plugins in that situation.

Very well AL,
you are probably right, so there will be another update soon - the idea is an optional "automation compatibility mode", nasty, but should work.
Btw. I don't really remember the sync thing you talked about (I'm not saying it didn't happen though). You know, the plugins are extended due to many and many features requested by customers and I believe most of them are glad for it (at least they say so
). I'm sure you understand these plugins are now extremely complicated and sometimes it is hard to provide all of the compatibility stuff, especially with all the variety of hosts. But generally I believe that taking into acount the complexity the backward compatibility is pretty good, except for the automation stuff unfortunately (and the sync thingy).

Yeah, and some of those suggested by me, as you know. LOL.MeldaProduction wrote:You know, the plugins are extended due to many and many features requested by customers and I believe most of them are glad for it (at least they say so).
But it's getting to the point that when i see the 'All effects have been updated' it fills me with excitement and fear at the same time. I love seeing new features, but not if it means hours of tracking down bugs, when i should be making music.
Your plugins are monsters now. It's probably just gonna get easier to screw things up if you do much more. Either that, or you will cause some kind of quantum explosion!
Well, it's your choice. I'm just hoping these plugins are going to be complete sometime soon, so i can relax and enjoy them.

Anyway I'm preparing some nasty new project, which should kind of override these effects, so we'll see
Anyway did you get my pm? I just need to verify the new version, so it can quickly replace the current one, probably no new version numbers, just a switch

Ok, that's fixed it.
Just one small thing bothering me though. The new dll wiped out my authorization, and when i tried to drop my licence file onto it, FL crashed. So i tried to authourize it in Sonar, and the plugin said no suitable licence was found.
I preffered having the licence thing in the start menu, to be honest. That way, i could re-apply the licence after every update, to make sure authorization was still working. This kind of problem is what i was worried about.
