Note too small to edit...

When the grid is off and a note gets shorten from right to left (obviously) to its minimum size it's no longer possible to re-size it. The pencil tool it's not engaged.

solution 1 - don't make notes that short, never been used in music... well, until Aphex Twin, but I mean in normal music 64/4 is the smallest fraction used.
solution 2 - zoom in more.

I agree, notes in MU.LAB can be fussy when they get small but sorohanro is right about using the zoom.(never had the problem you're describing though). If it's not doable with zooming in at al, I'd consider it a real bug.

I did what you were doing and there are a few interesting things about a very short note:
It doesn't seem to act as a proper note at all but as a 'trigger' (list editor) and it doesn't have a note off, so it's really not the shortest possible note, but another beast altogether.
It may not be possible to edit such a note graphically, though I'm not a coder.
Best stick to 128th grid, it's pretty good already for all sorts of weird effects.

When editing note lengths while grid = off, then the shortest length = 1 tick. I can't set it to trigger like Bonte describes
If you really want to edit such a short note lengths that they become too small for the sequence editor, best to use the even list editor then.

I did not want such a note unless I am playing with my eyelids instead of my fingers! (that fast!)
It happens sometimes since I do a lot of pencil work on the fly.
I remember to have be the one asking for the 128th notes because I like to adjust some of my jazzy improvisation straight from the keyboard.
This was more like a Maybe-Bug report. But the fact that it could be used as "trigger only event" it's something I will play with. I have a couple of ideas...
