I've been able to get the FabFilter plugins (Timeless, Twin, and Volcano) installed on my Receptor 2, but have been unable to get them authorized. I tried both typing the license key into the authorization box and copy/pasting in (which reverses all the upper and lower case letters for some reason), but in both cases I get a message saying that "This is not a valid license."
Anyone who has been able to get this running properly able to offer me some advice? Thanks in advance!

Hi heykenny (sounds redundant!
)
I've been able to authorize FabFilter products with very little difficulty.
You should be careful about the license you paste into the authorization dialog. I did my authorization from an external PC (Mac) - eg. I copied the license text from the authorization email FabFilter sent me, and I pasted it into the dialog (as it showed in the Receptor Remote viewer). You can verify that the auth text looks the same on the viewer (as in your original auth email). If it doesn't, it will probably be rejected by FabFilter. If you are getting reversed chars - this could either be a Caps Lock problem, or your receptor remote is not behaving properly. Perhaps you can try to run Receptor Remote from a different PC/Mac?
The auth code you get from FabFilter should look like this:
-- COPY LICENSE KEY FROM HERE --
Product: FF1, FF2, FF3;
Licensee: "Your Name";
SomeAuthorizationChars
OnMultipleLines
-- COPY UNTIL HERE --
Hope this helps, Good Luck!

Kevin L

thanks Kevin
I think (operative word being "think") I did all those same steps from my Mac. There is something weird going on with the caps because even when I typed the license in I had to use shift for lower case and without the shift was uppercase. I'll try again tonight and let you know. Appreciate the advice!

hey Kevin - I was able to get the plugs licensed. I think that the problem was that I had copied the .txt file containing the license over to my Receptor hard drive and was copying it from their. I copied it from my local mac drive instead and then it pasted in just fine. Thanks for your help! Mission accomplished.
cheers!
