ABCD Sphere bug fixed? (almost)

Regarding the ABCD sphere bug that I had in Fl Studio on the 64bit machine where I couldn't see the sphere moving and it wasn't changing the parameters..
Did you fix this in the latest version? I am trying to replicate the bug but all is working now, and automation is being recorded..
Well, I still get the bug with MMultiBandReverb but only that one. I used to have the problem with many more of the plugins..
Just wondering if you did end up fixing it and throwing it in the latest version or if something changed on my end.
Thanks!

Actually not, but be careful! The latest version unfortunately has another bug with automation regarding the "compatibility mode" for all multiband plugins, which did not have "output gain" and now they have. So there will be an update soon. I think the "spere bug" was just FLStudio taking too much CPU, so there were no time to redraw.

Ah ok. Looking forward to the update
Do you have an estimated time of arrival on that?
Hmm. are you sure it's Fl Studio though for the ABCD thingy? Why does it work for all the creative bundle plugins now except for the reverb if that's the case? Did you change the code for everything but the reverb?

Well, in a few days I hope (+ 1 plugin
).
Reverb does lots of processing when something is changed and also has many parameters, so it is possible, that FL studio ultra CPU hit for automation + reverb change processing = your CPU is finished. But I'll check, just didn't get to it yet

Hey no problem at all
I was just curious about the issue. To be honest the ABCD morphing is too powerful for me. I am very content with the modulators and Multiparameters. It'll be nice when it gets fixed because the feature is there, and should work, but take your time getting to the bottom of it
I don't need it if it makes you feel any better
I don;t want to record all that automation in my host, or rarely would ( but ya never know..
Just not anytime soon)
PS: I am writing a review. I'm on page 3 (in a word doc) and still haven't said half of what I think.. dang, I hope there isn't a size limit

Hehe sure
. Btw. automating all of the parameters is quite fatal anyway
, poor FL Studio
.
PS. Really? Oh, god, I'm getting scared

This sounds interesting.
So if it can pitch-shift vocals, i'm guessing you've included Antares-style formant shaping? That will really interest me, if we can adjust formants. I can do that in Sonar's V-vocal, but it would be great to have that in realtime. Especially with your modulators. In fact, that would be amazing.

Well, it can compensate for formants so far

Ah, so no manual formant shaping then? If you're able to formant-shift, can't we have a control slider for it on the gui? It's a nice tool for vocal effects. I'm thinking of things like automating the formant, so the vocals become slowly more airy and ghostly, over the course of 8 bars. And also, making a vocal sample sound slightly different to the original on the sample cd. Saves you having to buy so many sample cds.MeldaProduction wrote:Well, it can compensate for formants so far
This isn't just Antares and Roland territory. There was even a freeware plugin released recently that can shift formants. Haven't tried it though, but i can look up the name if you're interested.
Anyway, i'm sure it'll be a great plugin, whatever you decide to do with it.

Well, currently when you shift the pitch, you can adust "keeping formants" between 0%-100%, so in it can sound like a midget/ogre
in 0% or pseudo-naturally 100%. You want it to be able to move formants without shifting the pitch?
