Thanks Mike - unzipping has to be done with subfolder option active for the sf2 files to be found on startup. Basically most unzippers will do that by default - but as always there seem to be a few exceptions.Karmacomposer wrote:Did you unzip it properly with folders intact? Improper decompressing will make it not work because it cannot find the sound file.
I downloaded and unzipped it - tested it in Cantible solo 32 and 64 bit with no problems.
Great vsti HG!
Mike
cheers

I'm using the free version and I'm not getting any sound either. Using Acid Pro 6. My PC has an Echo MiaMIDI soundcard. There's no sound when using a Roland JV-90 keyboard or when pressing the play button in the gui. I haven't actually figured out the instructions or the gui so I don't know if I'm clicking the right buttons.Fortune wrote:A 3rd demo video is up:

I'll try the host control to on but I'm pretty sure I tried all host control settings. I'm not at my PC at the moment, but I'll try loading the bank manually as well - not even really sure how to to that, bt I'll try.
When all my other VSTs work - Kompakt, Synth1, Oatmeal, etc., I thought it was a MIDI channel problem, but I can't find any MIDI configuration in the software. I'm not sure if I unzipped it properly (I use 7-Zip), but I'll check that. Don't know what else is different between Dreammachine and the others.
Not sure if anyone else has tried this in Acid Pro. If I figure anything out, I'll update. Any other suggestions are welcome and thanked in advance!

Thanks! I did find that loading the bank "manually" (click Manage > Load bank) worked. Now I just need to spend some time figuring out how to sequence and use the filters. That'll be a challenge for an old guy like me! This is great though - I've been looking for something to create Robert Rich type ambient work. For example, I have some of my mixes/music uploaded on acidplanet under "mysistersinsane". Thanks againFortune wrote:daremo wrote:Fortune wrote:A 3rd demo video is up:
