It's me again...

I've been thinking....

You know how you added the right click a band "Edit input panorama" option, to be able to modify the pan for each band in the creative plugins...

Would you be able to add "Edit input pitch" as a right click option? :-o

Including an option to set the range of the pitch change being made when moving the pitch up or down in the band. (the same way you can usually change the range of the pitch for a pitch wheel on a keyboard. You may want to slide up to the next note from the 0 position to the maximum position, or you may want to slide up a whole octave in pitch.. Hope I am explaining myself correctly..

I was thinking how great it would be to be able to change, modulate or automate the pitch of any band in all of the creative plugins..

On another note (related to this), I'd love to see a new creative plugin based on pitch. A plugin that only addresses pitch.

MMultibandPitch?

It could have less parameters, and would be used exclusively for pitch modifications.

It would have the standard 6 bands, Dry/Wet, Input Gain and Output gain section. We could change, modulate, and automate the pitch of each individual band :D maybe via a pitch slider that can be adjusted + or -, located under each Band panel.

Thanks for listening :)

:), hehe it would be possible if there was a great pitch-shifting algorithm available, but there isn't :).
So in the next update the MMultiBandHarmonizer will be released, which is basically what you call the "multiband pitch", but a little bit more general ;).

Can't wait to try it out.

Even a "decent" pitch shifting algorithm would do it for me. As I'm looking for creative ways to change the sounds. It doesn't have to be the algorithm that doesn't exist :)

Here are 3 new feature requests...

1) Love those modulators. Any chance of having access to 8 of these in the future?

2) In the modulator window, when you add a Parameter by clicking the + sign, it automatically adds a dry/wet parameter. You double click it and the "select parameter" window pops up where you can switch the dry/wet parameter to something else. Any chance of having the "select parameter" window pop up directly after we hit the + button to add a new parameter? Adding a dry/wet parameter first seems like an unnecessary step.

3) Default presets that reload the plugin to it's default state. I'm going to make my own, but it would be nice if these were included by default :)

Finally, I just wanted to say that I like that there is now a pop up asking to confirm the resetting of the bands. I'm glad I suggested this :)

Hehe so:

1) I'm afraid not - god damn automation, also the GUI would become soo huge. You need more than 4 modulators????? :D

2) Yup, done ;).

3) God damn it! :D. Forgot to do that, done ;).

Cheers!

Well, you could make the Modulator tabs half the width by using abbreviations :D (Mod 1, Mod 2, instead of Modulator 1, Modulator 2).

With each mod, we are limited to 1 Frequency ( or 1 sync mode). We have to use that same sync setting for all the parameters that are added in that mod.

So I currently have 4 different sync settings total that I can use to modulate. I wouldn't mind more.. 6.. 8.. :) But I understand if you can't :)

2) Yup, done .

Sweet! Just tried it out

3) God damn it! . Forgot to do that, done .

Yup, it's there now :)

Hehe, you are an extremist :D. I'm afraid this would really be very problematic because of the automation and most people wouldn't use it anyway :(.

No worries :)

By the way, could you add a way to copy and paste modulator states ?

Sometimes I want to load what I did for modulator 1 in modulator 2 and make slight changes (change the synchronization length for example). As is, it seems I can't do this and have to rebuild the entire modulation chain from scratch into mod 2.

Sure! Added to to-do list!

Alright, I've got a new feature request for you. Actually 2..

1)

I added the MMultiBandTremolo on a synth sound. The tremolo kicks in as soon as I play a note. The thing is, I want the tremolo to kick in shortly after I hit the note, not immediately when I hit the note.

I'm not getting good results trying to modulate the Dry/Wet slider to do this. I use a fruity envelope controller (draw an envelop) and place it in a layer.. but that's one more thing to do..

What I'd really like (to make it super easy) is a "delay" slider in the MMultiBandTremolo GUI that delays the start of the tremolo effect. I realize this may not work if synchronization is enabled, and I'm ok with that, but if you could get it to still sync, even with the start delay, that would be great. Like you could set the delay time in milliseconds, seconds, or beats, etc.. :)

So basically just a slider that just shifts the start time of when the effect kicks in once a note is received.

You could add this to other plugins (Vibrato for example....)

2)

Would you consider adding a bypass button on the Plugins? A Master bypass?
I always have to enable/disable the Melda effects in the Fl Studio mixer (which is on my second monitor) and it would be convenient to have a bypass feature right in the GUI's :)

:)
Play it by ear

Hehe another? :D

1) Well, I don't really understand what you want to do and how are you trying to do it. You are usnig MIDI reset or something?

2) Another well :), there is mainly no place in the GUI for it and since basically every host has a bypass in the GUI window (well, FL is FL...), this doesn't make much sense I'm afraid :(.
Edit: I just checked some other hosts like Live doesn't have it either, so maybe there's something about it :)...

I've been missing that too. It would be convenient if the plugin header contains a master bypass button (on the left side maybe).

I think that it's better to leave the bypass function on the host side. For example, what about the latency compensation? If the host doesn't know that a plugin is internally bypassing the signal then it would still compensate for the latency of the plugin, thus resulting in over-compensation. Maybe this is not an issue for MCreativeBundle but there are other plugins with more significant latency.

If you just A/B the sound, why is latency a problem? If a plugin is internally bypassing the signal then latency is the same.
