Nice! .. i hope you will go further with improving the modulations management
.. the workflow i mean
I like the idea of grouping tracks with their modulations
But in smaller songs you can have some instrument tracks and below the automations for it
There is some level of automations i think as method

But it gets complicated for me the use of two custom mux effects on the pad sound.. because don't know the idea behind this (song)

Aside of the musical quality of your "tests", it's very useful for me to see how you do certain things, like fx managing and mixing. Also amazing how you've managed to build the bassdrum and the HH on this example with just one sound (nice bassdrum indeed).

There's always room for learning new things, and your examples are very educative, thanks for sharing them and keep on the good work

Hi All,

While I like my commercial VSTi and I have purchased presets packs from sound designers to use with my VSTi. MU.LAB does have another side to it with the very clever modular MuSynth/MUX stuff.

I too like the "taron-wildinger.MuSession" it shows what can be done when someone knows what they are doing with modular stuff such as LFOs etc etc etc.

Although I do not always understand the topics that discuss such methods of creating sounds. I am very glad we have users like Taron and pljones to name but two.

While I mainly use MU.LAB as a host for my VST/VSTi I am glad that the user group has users that can help Jo build the other side of MU.LAB.

Anyway good stuff Taron very clever.

To get more insight/ideafor the modular Synths and MUX in MUlab i can find only 3 vst
- Karma FX synth modular
- Vaz Modular
and- Reactor
All three can be used as VST in MUlab

There are some more modular synths programs but stand alone
-Synthmaker
-Synthedit

I tried Karma FX synth modular in MUlab...

UH VAZ...my god I havn't heard that name in YEARS. I used to like it a lot in the early days. I'll have to go check out what they're up to these days.

Thanks! Yes i feel the drive too and am doing my best to develop things in the right direction as fast as possible. But decent programming does take time. (i do want to keep the code clean so it is constantly future proof)

I'm also looking forward to your input in the M4 chat here, in about a month.
