:(

i only just found out about this site yesterday!
awesome blog, thanks for the care you put into your reviews... cheeky stuff too. i definitely added about a half dozen great albums to my eye-pod yesterday. to say goodbye immediately after meeting...

@funkylime

Parting is such sweet sorrow. :(

...but what's this galloping over the horizon? Strike me, it's the Creative Commons itself, riding a noble steed called the Free Music Archive, and announcing to all and sundry that the kingdom shall gather to hear something stupendous:

"Hear ye, hear ye. Creative Commons (the crowd bows its collective head) is proud to announce that the latest guest curator at the Free Music Archive is none other than the churlish knave known as Catching The Waves. He is to be hunted down and disembowelled. Keep it downwind, people."

*gallops off*

Well, there you have it. Find 20 of the best free tracks from the best albums from the worst CC music blog on the net by following this glowing phrase:

You love me, you really do.

I can keep this up all day, you know. :hihi:

That post was ridiculously irritating, wasn't it? Sorry.

There's a new post at Catching The Waves. It's actually on the same subject as the above post in this KVR thread, but this time there's a dancing robot. :D

Sorry, KVR, I'm still breathing.

Here's a new Catching The Waves review of a free CC album that features strumming, plucking, singing, etc. It's rather good - the album, that is.

My posting schedule is a little erratic. :D But I'm very pleased that you're enjoying the music. 8)

Like a thumb tack on a chair, I'm here when you least expect it.

But don't worry - I bring the soothing ointment of a very, very nice album that sounds wonderful and contains old-fashioned things like guitars, harmonies and, wait for it, songs. Rub your hurty bits at Catching The Waves and see if the new review of a free album makes you feel better. :hihi:

A sneaky bump. (If I ever rename my stupid website, that's what I'll call it.) ;)

Good to see you're still around, making sense of all these releases.

Much appreciated.

Post

Thank you, Gary. Much appreciated in return, although I can't claim to be "making sense" of all CC releases; there are far too many of them, which is one of the charms of the CC music scene. Besides, there are other sites that do a better job of sifting what's available.

I will make CTW redundant, I will. :hihi:

I do believe there's a new review of a free album nestling in the top corner of CTW's net.

The methadone didn't do it. I'm back on the hard stuff. Consequently, there's a new review of a free album at Catching The Waves.
