Catching The Waves: reviews of free netlabel & CC albums

Yesterday, I decided to close Catching The Waves. Finding, hearing, choosing and reviewing free CC albums takes up far too much of my time, and there are other things I'd like to do that are getting neglected because of it.

awesome blog, thanks for the care you put into your reviews... cheeky stuff too. i definitely added about a half dozen great albums to my eye-pod yesterday. to say goodbye immediately after meeting...

...but what's this galloping over the horizon? Strike me, it's the Creative Commons itself, riding a noble steed called the Free Music Archive, and announcing to all and sundry that the kingdom shall gather to hear something stupendous:

Thank you, Gary. Much appreciated in return, although I can't claim to be "making sense" of all CC releases; there are far too many of them, which is one of the charms of the CC music scene. Besides, there are other sites that do a better job of sifting what's available.
