Funny you should mention Bitheadz. I ran their email list group, and was a big fan and supporter. I was really disappointed with what happened with that company.johnrule wrote:Well, maybe I should clarify...audiojunkie wrote:Hmmmm.... Challenge/Response.... I'm out--even if the price is right.

It's not like some challenge-response situations where you generate an ID code, send it to the company, and then wait forever for a response. IK Multimedia has a system that instantly generates a response code from their website, and I don't think IK Multimedia is going away any time soon.
I have been using their system for many years without fail (always an instant authorization code), and I doubt they would leave their customers hanging if something happened (unlike BitHeadz).

I also saw a lot of people shafted by the company that made Superwave and Tarkus.
And there was another company (the one that made that great Classic effects series, I believe) that went down. As much as I hate dongles, I would prefer to have a dongle over Challenge/Response.

I know this is probably out of the price range of most people here but this is one huge bargain IMHO.
7 superb sample libraries - pretty much everything you could possible want apart from beats and synths.
- Percussion, orchestral instruments, ethnic instruments, choir, piano etc.
East West composers collection with EWQL Gold, Symphonic Choirs, RA, Goliath, Stormdrum 2, Voices of passion, Pianos Gold for under $800
http://www.soundsonline.com/Complete-Co ... W-189.html
Use code "ANNIVERSARY" at checkout for a sub $800 price. I believe the original price for all these was around $3000.
If it wasn't because I already have 2 and (1/2) of them and are completely broke I'd jump on it. Can't remember seing it for this price before.

Well, audioMIDI.com finally announced their garage sale. The best deal in it, for me, is the upgrade to T-RackS 3 Deluxe for participants in the $20 T-RackS EQ "no-brainer" deal . . . it's now only $229!

I doubt it since the link you provided is for bundle offers that expired on May 10th (and the "THE ABSOLUTE BEST NO-BRAINER DEAL OF THE CENTURY" was supposed to start sometime after May 10th).GeorgeZ wrote:Crysonic no-brainer (supposedly...) ... i would probably buy this if the coupon worked on the customize edition of the composers collection. if you use it on the customize edition, it only takes 50% off the first item rather then the whole pack....Armadillo wrote:I know this is probably out of the price range of most people here but this is one huge bargain IMHO.

thanks for the coupon. used it to get the the ezdrummer plus free expansion thing for $97. I thought it would be 90$ but apparently guitar center has to be lame and charge tax on online orders. Either way, it still saved me $10 bucks!SantiniKVR wrote:Guitar Center has some discount deals/codes for this weekend ( these are good until 5/18 )

Isn't it that they have to charge tax if they have a presence in the state you order from? I think I've ordered from them (from NC or SC) and not got charged tax.the_grimace wrote:I thought it would be 90$ but apparently guitar center has to be lame and charge tax on online orders. I always thought there center was in kansas though. hmm, maybe that was musicians friend.robojam wrote:Isn't it that they have to charge tax if they have a presence in the state you order from? idk though, a friend also bought from them recently, and he got charged tax, so while rare, it is a possibility that they have to charge tax. Either way i still feel ripped off paying tax online. lol, how spoiled online shopping has made us.
