paulhart wrote:When I start with your demo tracks (fine!) and "double-click" within each rack instrument to look at the settings, some come up with the name in the selection box, some don't. In 'Dream of the Piano#6,' Synthia (Double Bass) showed up, but Multisampla (Drumset)(Stand-In Piano), Stereo Echo, and MuVerb do not.
In Distant Moon#3, Sampla (Simpli) does, MultiSample (Stand-In Piano) does.
In MuJass Walking By#2, MuSynth (RealBass) does. You get the idea. It is uneven regarding which item, when clicked on will show the instrument that it is currently playing, initially. Once I go through the selection, it sticks, but in this case, I want to see what you are using, and clicking on the selection has the potential of inadvertently changing it, particularly as a "noobie" trying to understand how it works. I had commented on this earlier, but it might have gotten lost in the shuffle
Other wise, looks to be a fine upgrade.

Hi Paul,

I did read your message about this some time ago and did finetune the aspect.

But it may be that some sessions that were saved before that update don't already include the necessary info to display the library patch name.

I can't simply reload the presets in these sessions because while creating these sessions the creator may have tweaked the preset after load.

Normally for new sessions things should be ok.

Last but not least: Note that that name reflects the library preset name from which this patch is loaded. The actual patch name may differ from that if you have renamed the patch.

The "level too low" or whatever it says message appeared and disappeared before I could really read it. It probably should require user acknowledgement because it's probably an unintended condition.
Do others agree? Should the "Recording Too Silent" message stay there until clicked?
Prefer to leave it up until clicked.

I keep forgetting to mention that, but what are the chances of being able to apply sequence functions (modify velocity and the likes) to multiselected patterns?

One of the fixes in 3.1.3... and I was still running 3.1.2

It's on the wishlist. But i don't immediately see a neat technical solution. To be continued...

Whenever I delete the Endorphin vst, Mulab crashes. It works fine in 2.7. Is this the VST's fault?

Running Mulab 3.1.3 - Had no problems with Endorphin. When I delete it the music sounds poor again.

Where do you save the New.MuSession? It's not working as expected...
3.1.5. I save it as New.MuSession but when I go File>New Session I'm getting the default one.
Right now it's in this directory: MU.LAB\MULAB_3.1.5\App\Library\MuSession

Lost in the woods.... :ud: :scared:

You got a point, i had to look it up myself.

Currently, the New.MuSession must be in the Mulab folder itself, i.e. near the application file.

But i think the most logical place would be in Mulab/User/Library/MuSession.
Will finetune.
