Use Effectrix as midi controlled effect in an instrument track.
Then you can trigger one of the 12 effectrix patterns per midi at the exact position where you want. Check the manual if you have problems with the routing.

Yes, you create an instrument track and insert Effectrix as you would insert an instrument(from the midi controlled fx menu). Then you feed your audio signal via sidechain into Effectrix. Turn the trigger by midi option in Effectrix on.
Now when you send a midi note Effectrix will start running.

In the sidechainmenu all audiotracks should appear. Just choose the track which you want to process with Effectrix.
Then turn down the volume of the original audiotrack because you propably want the signal to 100% come through Effectrix. Make also sure you have some effects activated in Effectrix to hear it's working.
Best,
Robert

If you want to process a group of tracks, route them all to a bus and send that bus via side chain to the Effectrix track.
As said, you want to set this bus to no output so you don't have it playing twice (thru the bus and the effectrix track).

I dont want an single track to run through effectrix, I want an group and its only during a certain portion of a song. In addition, I created an new track..went to AU midi controlled effects. Turned the trigger by midi "on" then painted on the effects I wanted in the efftrix sequencer. Then I opened my mixer in logic, went to send, chose bus 1 to put various tracks in. went back to effectrix went to side chain and chose bus 1. Went back to the effectrix track chose bus 1 in sends too. Then under I/O I see "Out 1-2" saw that and chose then proceeded to choose no output. I pressed play and still nothing...wat am i doing wrong?..i just want effectrix to play during an certain portion of my song thats it.

The bus output must be set to No Output.
The effetric track has to be outputted somewhere for you to hear it.
I think you must draw some notes on the Effctrix midi track for the effect to happen.

I went to the sounds I wanted to run through effectrix....but it on a bus...(I believe I turned the bus all the way down if not please tell me how to do so in Logic). In addition, I always penciled in the effects I want in the effectrix sequencer. Then I went to side chain then the particular bus I ran everything through and then triggered on midi on effectrix. went to piano roll and penciled the correct key n which my effects are on. STILL NOTHING. I need help..

Don't lower the fader, set the output of the bus to > No Output. By lowering the volume fader you lower the input of effectrix.

You see the I/O squares right below the sends?? click where its says stereo out (there's the same on the bus) and you choose no output. Leave the bus fader at unity (o)
