Question about free bundle for creative bundle owners

Hello :)

Having the creative bundle, there are a lot of plugins that are in the free plugin bundle that I don't use since the multiband versions have more features (the option to have more bands, and there are the modulators of course).

I prefer to start with one band in the multiband version and then I have the option of adding bands as I go (or not), whereas with the free version of the plugins I am limited to 1 band. Also, the multiband versions have the modulators :) So I don't really have a need for the full registered versions of the free plugins.

However, there are 3 plugins in the free bundle that cannot be purchased separately and that are not part of the creative bundle, and can only be obtained by upgrading the free bundle. Those are: MComp, MLimiter, and MEqualizer.

1) Would you consider selling these individually so those of us that have the creative bundle can just get these 3 plugins?

or

2) Can you add them to the creative bundle so those of us that don't want all the other less featured plugins don't have to buy the upgrade to the free plugins? Or maybe a special lower price to get all three plugins added to the creative bundle?

Thanks for listening

Hi Pheeleep

One of the plugins you mention is already included in the MCreative Bundle.

Take a look at MFilter. This is essentially MEqualiser with modulators, morphing and the ability to use filter in series or parallel. :)

Check out MFilter on the Meldaproduction website for more info.

Maybe ask Vojtech privately to sell individual 'Freeware Pro' licences for €10 each or something?

Oh yeah, you're right. That just leaves MComp and MLimit..

Vojtech, maybe owners of Mastering or Creative bundle could get a discount on selected 'Pro' licences of the freeware plugs?

Compared to Waves or Soundtoys etc, the value for money that all Melda plugins represent is actually astounding. Furthermore, bundle owners get new plugins added every month, so the value of Melda bundles grows continueously! :)

I agree they are a great value :)

It's just that you can get 12 plugins for 30 euros, and I just need 2 of them. I don't even want the other 10 in my VST folder since I already have the better versions and I already have so many vst's in my folder, I want to keep it as uncluttered as possible. I posted about this here because I thought perhaps I was not the only one in this situation.

I agree exactly with your sentiments. :)

Some of the 'freeware pro' plugins are perfect, and it would be great to be able to buy the pro licences for indivdual plugins for cheap.

Hey folks,

well, we are talking about 30 EUR :). I understand you don't need all of the plugins, but still it's almost for free :). And actually it is free, you don't need to buy them, you just don't get the additional features (see Licence & donate in every free plugin tab).
I could give you some discount, but it would have to be manual for everyone and it would still be for all plugins, because right now it is technically impossible to upgrade only certain plugins to "pro" version. I just thought nobody would care for 30 EUR :).

Yeah and I forgot - MLimiter is MMultiBandSaturator ;) (I know the name is rather confusing, historical reasons ). So it leaves just one - MCompressor.

Anyway some of you is actually helping with grammar corrections of the website, so for example I would have no problem giving you that for free. I just don't know who is that :D.

:o

Very nice of you. We'll talk about it again when I'm done. I'll keep track of how long it takes me and then you can give me some Melda goodies :)

There's 1 multiband dynamic effect I really want too (well, actually I want all your plugins but little by little :)

I am a patient man.... (30 euros is normally not a big deal for me but I've been out of work for a year and every euro counts right now)... I'm not trying to devalue your plugins :)

I couldn't justify getting MComp for 30 euros when I already have so many commercial compressors... 2 years ago I would have bought the total bundle in a heartbeat.. Times change. I'm sure there are better times ahead..

Oh and you know I can actually save presets with MComp using the wrapper in my host. The presets are just saved in a different format. But I don't use presets for compressors anyway :) Like you said, there is is no real incentive for me to upgrade to the full version, but I'd like to anyway :) If not, just to get rid of the little nag and to be able to resize:) I like my Melda plugins to look very sharp (well dressed)

:)

But you may want to add MComp to the two bundles that do not include it (creative and Mastering). You can do some really creative dynamic effects with it

Very well, we'll talk then ;).

You know, MComressor is free and it cannot be in multiple bundles, because they would collide. Also there's no need for it in MMasteringBundle, because it contains a much more powerful thing - MDynamics ;).
