The only virtual synth I'm really using is a thing called Zebra, by a German guy named Urs Heckmann. It really has "that sound" with so such flexibility, and such quality.

Finally took the plunge with Zebra and loving it. Got some great soundbanks just need to learn how to use the beast.

Glad to hear there's a x64 version coming as having some issues with jBridge and GUI in Cubase.

Check out the vid tutorials that Urs has posted up on Youtube.. They'll give you a good push in the right direction..

and as always experiment.... you can't break it.. really

hi i some problems with my zebra 2.5 ( but i still like this machine)

: I try to modulate with the " gate" from menu (not the MSEG) but nothing works . what make I wrong?

"Gate" works fine here (Z2.5 in Cubase/Mac).

@monogap: just in case you're not sure... GATE gives you a constant while notes are being played. Experiment: Try modulating oscillator "Tune" with "Gate", and set longer release in Env1. Does the pitch change when you release a note?
