I installed the 3-1-3, load a synthia in rack A,
and another synthia in rack B, but cannot get both to play at once.
Its the same if different synths are in A and B, how can
both be heard? I read the docs, tried key combos, key/click combos,
searched menus, I'm missing something obvious? :help:

Loading a synth in rack A, and then 3 fx in rack A worked fine.
Cheers :)

If you want to layer synths on top of each other so they always play together, then insert a MUX and put the two synths inside that MUX and connect the Event Input to both synths, and both synths to Audio Output.

.. or put a "send to B" into the top slot of Rack A.
Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler!

Yep! That's another way :)

I was wondering how to create those mux monsters that liquidsound was talking about. Thanks for the tips.

Thanks, I'll go run a mux :hihi:

What is the land-speed-record for finding a mux? :)

I found one, and figured out the deep-edit option,
copy/paste of modules, and the squiggly cables,
and loading the send-to in the top slot of the rack.

But it works as advertised, and synthia sounds very nice.
I saved and reloaded a project that used both of the above
mentioned ways to layer sounds. This was done in an
odd-duck linux. MUTools seems quite spry, does anyone know
how cpu usage compares to any other daws?

Thanks for the pointers!

Mulab offers at the moment no multi core support
That is a point of concern for Mutools.. i think
