Here they are called "Three Way", in Europe maybe differently.
(From Wikipedia: A simple changeover switch: C (COM, Common) is connected to L1 or to L2).
I didn't see anything like this, or maybe I missed somehow...
This would be as useful as the Patch point in many applications ( and I could see to be even more useful).
It would be better to have it in the front level panel of a MUX together with the Parameters controllers.
This would allow, on the fly, to choose a path for events or audio and it would be similar and faster than going into the deep level and re-arrange the cables.
The possibilities are endless. It makes the MUX more Flex-Modular
You can prepare in advance all kinds of paths and use the when needed, Live or in the time line.
Of course a CC, or something similar to your 16 parameters, should be there for automation.
I really think this could be used a lot.
What's your (and other users) take on this one?
(I'm working on something....)
