That should be fine, but, what if you have a function to apply the midi fx directly to the original sequence?, without need to go into the MA. That would be more easy and intuitive for newcommers or non modular users. I'm "scared" to see that simple things require to go into the MA, IMO this limits the freedom for users that know nothing about modularity (i.e. my brother, wich is a newbie and is using mulab free right now). Reaper has such function and is one of the few things i liked of that app when i tested it.
By using Midi Yoke -- http://www.midiox.com/ -- This works in MuLab similar to the latter description.

Edit>Midi Output to Midi Yoke 1
Edit>Midi Input from Midi Yoke 1

Rack A - The sequence generator - Event Output routed to MidiYoke 1
Rack B - any synth selected -- click record events

Output of the sequence generator is recorded as a new sequence in Rack B

If everything has the same priority, then it has no priority.

I agree with that; however perhaps this should be considered to be on the version 4 to do list.

Personally, I might need to buy a license of Reaper just to do this :) as currently FL Studio do not do this. Reaper has a sweet method called, "Apply track FX to items as a new take (midi ouput)" from a right miouse click over the midi sequence. Much better than Abletons solution where you actually have to record the run through of the timeline. Reapers solution just renders upon the right mouse click and its there. Really smooth.

On the FL Studio forum, this is a very popular request and the developers mentioned they are working on a solution on more than one occasion.

As for Orion (also considering), I can't remember if it will record???

Renoise also does not yet record midi output plugins as of the newest version as this gets asked frequently on their forum also.

You mean a midi fx for a midi track ?
Well a layertrack (subtrack in Mulab) with a midivst fx can do the same?
Look at project 5_ver2 with layered tracks

Planning is:

1 Get MU.LAB 3.1 ready for release
1 Finish some other tasks (yes, there also is life besides MU.LAB)
2 Take a break
3 Start MU.LAB 4 cycle

I'm looking forward to start dreaming and chatting about M4.

But before then i must(;)) do step 1+1+2.

Here's a video with the technique used ...

It's true that in any other DAW the Arp/Seq recording it's easy, as many samples are showing...

BUT!
Come on guys!

All those DAWS can not even begin to do what MU.LAB can do as of now already.

I think because the way MU.LAB modularity is used that sometimes thing may get unusually complex to implement.

It will be done, for sure, but the MU-Way ( a better one)! :D

The bottomline is that you don't have to record the catyana output as a midi input for the synth
Wow that's better than cubase sonar or live
perhaps a idea for MuLab too ?
I must study the example from reaper further and install reaper

Well in my opinion you are never sure if the MU way will be better if is not there.
Look at the example of reaper that a has better workflow for catanya than cubase, live and sonar as i understand it correct from James
