Is it possible to create groups in the MSA?
By creating groups you can then just call them and the chain of Plugins appears with the memorized position in the main window ready for adjustments.
In LIVE you get a long rack. Really handy.
A MUX setup is not a substitute for this.
<EDIT>
One way to open a Group, once defined, is by clicking any of its components/devices in the MSA and the whole chain of VST/instruments/Effects would open as a set in the original position.
A group could have a graphic area in the background or anything feasible for it, like a container. These groups could be saved as Groups for future usage in other projects.
Different than a MUX because some stuff or routing are not accessible while contained in the MUX: (We went through this last issue).

When you ask something like "Is it possible to..." then the answer will be yes most of the time. There are many things possible.
The question rather is: "Would it be important to most users to..." i.e. what's the priority of a feature request.
I'll come back on this when the M4 cycle starts.

You suggesting a Poll for every request?mutools wrote:When you ask something like "Is it possible to..." then the answer will be yes most of the time. There are many things possible.

"Is It possible" means to me, the requester, if it is in your Plan/Coding architecture/etc.
We shall never know what the majority of users wants because it seems that a small number of users are active here in the forum and if that's the only tape measure then we're in trouble because it would be as unreal as the polls for political races!
Yea! Why is MU.LAB all CAPS

Ah sorry i misunderstood."Is It possible" means to me, the requester, if it is in your Plan/Coding architecture/etc.
To answer that question: no, it's not planned.
Agreed. That's also why i will not only rely on the feedback on this forum when taking decissions. We shall never know what the majority of users wants because it seems that a small number of users are active here in the forum and if that's the only tape measure then we're in trouble because it would be as unreal as the polls for political races!
I do look forward to start an M4 FR poll here (already got the poll in mind, just waiting for the right moment) and hear what's most wanted here.
But i'll also consult other user groups.
The Kvr user group clearly reflects a more advanced user group. FRs like this MUX group thing is already very very specific, imho. The main ambition is to simplify and broaden MU.LAB for a larger user base. (while consolidating the current deepness)

I think the first thing it to enhance is the soundconstructing modules like member Taron or member Ben from the chiptune has suggestmutools wrote: The question rather is: "Would it be important to most users to..." i.e. what's the priority of a feature request.

Than they can make more interesting songs
Than on the other hand working on the parts of MULAB program for a larger public (the mass)
Well than i suggest to get a midifile player with midisounds
Than the whole world can replay their midifiles
Easy than to make a tune and how about karokee ..to sing along
Also a default template(s) so that mulab starts with some sounds assigned to it
( the new user must not first figure out how he must assign a sound )
Ready out the box and play and record ( the songs can be later choosen by the new user ) by a message
O yes the possibility the make study notes included for songmaking !

Wise desicion. We are a bunch of greedy (in the good sense) users that likes to see MU.LAB quickly getting there without thinking about that you have a life too...mutools wrote:Agreed. That's also why i will not only rely on the feedback on this forum when taking decissions.
