When I drag an audio file into the sequencer and creates a new sample from selection. How do I get that new sample into the sequencer?

Samples cannot be played directky from the composer, like audio files.
Samples can be played by Sampla, MultiSampla and by any MUX/MuSynth patch that is using a (multi)sample player.

What do you mean with 'embed'?
If you mean: Can i use audio files in the composition, the answer is yes.
Just drag-drop them from explorer (WIN) / finder (OSX) onto the MU.LAB composer.

If you mean embed the audio file in the MuSession file, then no (possibly "not yet").
