I, for one, would need a Tiger build for this. Unfortunately, I didn't think to buy an upgrade to Leopard before Snow Leopard came out, and the upgrade cost from Tiger->Snow Leopard is a bit difficult to justify. Isn't it pretty simple to still compile just once for Tiger and above? Admittedly, I am only familiar with building an AU in XCode on a Leopard machine, rather than Snow Leopard so things may have changed. Yes, that does mean I have a machine running Leopard, but that's not my music-making/gigging machine.rexlapin wrote:Urs,
I can do either so I am covered in any
case, but maybe a poll to see how many
potential users might still be on Tiger
could be useful before you go to the
trouble of a separate build. It's good
to have it back!
Cheers,
Scott

Yes, the compile shouldn't be a problem. The main hassle is that I can't remove any warnings about deprecated methods. E.g. I'm using the back then inevitable MoreFilesX which is now integrated into the system. And I'd also love to drop the RgnHandle in the Drag'n'Drop functionality (which I think I *must* drop if I want to build a 64-Bit version, an #if will do though)
It may also be worth benchmarking the code compiled by gcc 4.0 vs. 4.2 (or even 4.4). If there's no significant improvement in speed then I will happily switch back to 4.0 and the 10.4 SDK
Cheers,
Urs

Hehe, now let's just hope it works as predicted...
(it's compiled on my new system, with all updated files... havn't had much of a test run)

Thanks Urs,
trying now. Only thing so far I can't figure out is where the presets directory are supposed to be. On the default directory it does not load on Bazile, I tried to copy to different directories but I still unable to load the presets.

Had to move mine to Bazille.Data/Presets/Bazille. Close GUI and then re-open.(In FL anyway) Viola! Presets.alexfalcao wrote:Thanks Urs,trying now. If that doesn't work then IDK....

It's also worth mentioning you need to left-click on the information box (where you see the knob values) for the presets to show up. Since they aren't .fxp it's doubtful your host DAW will recognize them.alexfalcao wrote:Thanks Urs,trying now. Only thing so far I can't figure out is where the presets directory are supposed to be. Thanks, I found the problem, The presets were on a directory called BazilleStart on; Bazille\Bazille.data\presets\Bazille\BazilleStart, I moved one directory up (to ...\Bazille.data\presets\Bazille\) and now the presets shows fine. BTW I'm running on a Windows 7 (64 bit), Ableton Live 7.
