Congratulations Hakey!

The polling worked out pretty well, and voting seemed to be more active. Thanks to those who voted in either format, and to those who pushed for polling!

Not exactly sure what to do for next contest, couple ideas:

* interesting use of osc FX (patch must feature osc FX somehow)
* submit a picture that relates to a patch ...
* fish and shrubbery: part of the challenge is to figure out how a patch could possibly relate to a theme of fish and shrubbery

Great! Congrats to Hakey! :)
3rd and 4th place this time for me :)

The patches where really great this time.

I would love to see some kind of "One note Zebra" theme in the ZPC11!
The task would be to create a complex, evolving patch where you just have to hold one note.

Cheers

Really didn't expect to win this one, in fact, I nearly forgot to enter. :?

Well done to everyone else - I don't think the final score does all of the entries justice. :)

I'll just throw in an idea for a future contest:

Emulation - make a recognizable emulation of something - it could be a real instrument, say a cello, a Minimoog, etc. or a well known synth sound, eg the 'Jump' patch, or a sound from nature - thunder, birdsong - well you get the idea. And it would allow people a fair amount of latitude to create the type of patch that they like, whilst still retaining a bench mark by which to judge results, ie. is it a good emulation of what it claims to be? (Hmm... I have a feeling I might have suggested this before - I honestly can't remember, one way or the other. If I am repeating myself, just ignore me.)

Great idea!

Congratulations again :)

I had that transformers preset kicking around my hard drive for some time now. I needed an excuse to submit it for others to use. I'm happy with my single vote. :)

Congrats Hakey!

Congrats Hakey!

When I first played Ice Ickles the wind was blowing a large wind chime outside. I had to do a double take. :D
Great patch!

Wait, are you saying you have a Jump patch? 'cause I HAVE SPANDEX!

  :help:

Between that, Bronto Scorpio's 'one-note', and the stuff I posted I'm thinking emulation could be good. I think the 'one-note' would be a great contest but right after this contest, so maybe better to hold onto that one for a bit.

I can leave this discussion open for a few days, and post the contest over the weekend or on Monday
