The core idea behind Uhbik-X is to provide for a rack of any 4 Uhbiks with various options to route audio through fx in serial and parallel, with possibilities for band and transient splitting. On top of that, various modulators are going to be available for modulation of *any* knob.
Wow! That sounds stunning! Thanks for the quick answer Urs! I'm really sure this will be worth the wait!

Cheers

Wow... I didn't realize that this would have band/serial/parallel/transient splitting routing options. This sounds very nice.

It sounds really great. But what the hell is transient splitting? Does this allow me to prozess the transients seperated? That would be like heaven! Imagine a small ambience just on the transients of a drumloop :)

That's the idea, yes. Something like two effects on transient and two effect on body. Havn't tested it thoroughly though, but it should be fine...

Wow. Just wow
Can't wait to try this. My head starts to think out some pretty weird routings right now :D

Uhbik-X will be awesome. And just imagine how insane Uhbik-Y and Uhbik-Z will be!! ;)

Will Uhbik-X provide feedback loops (with gain control of course) so that the output of downstream plugins could be fed back to the input of upstream plugins ? That would make a mighty flexible workbench for cobbling together some truly exotic effects. Even just one feedback path from the final out back to the input would offer a huge number of creative options.

There'll be a delay option... anyone who got my hints at the DP-4 will know what I'm up to with this ;)

I bought the series Uhbik at the beginning.
It's been over a year now that Urs said that the module "X" should be available.
Still nothing in sight.
I think that this is not very correct from Urs. He prefers to lead other projects (like ACE) and eventually earn more money. Plug-in U-He are really good but I will not buy them before the release of Ukbik "X" module....
But this is not a problem for me because I found the excellent plug-in XilsLab:
XILS3: EMS VCS3 enhanced emulation (with three more matrix)
PolyKB: RSF PolyKobol II emulation ( with sweeped waveform OSC)
These two one at least as good if not better than ACE and Zebra ...
Zeuhl Muzik for ever !

I just think it's a case of unforeseen circumstances, and don't forget it's just Urs making all of these beautiful creations. Have faith, and I'm sure the wait won't be too much longer.

Believe me, I would have loved for things to be different, but not everything is in ones own hand.

However, the lack of Uhbik-X is the reason why Uhbik is still on special.

good? better? They're all good in their own right.
... and let's keep any kind of open or hidden nationalism out of kvr, please! Or you will be damned to use Lena's english accent forever! :P

Why would you buy two synths if what you're waiting for is a modular wrapper around a set of existing effects processors?

Im shocked though that a software company might want to earn money. WTF is the world coming to.
