Nice!
Does anyone know if the first production run covers all the back orders?
So if I order one I won't have to wait for more to be manufactured?
Maybe I should hold off anyway 'til you've played it and let us know if it's up to scratch.

I'm Customer 73, Order # 118
Back on January 26,2010 when I placed my YRG order, it stated "free early bird shipping".
On Tuesday - i spoke on the phone to John Evans and he said he would sort it out. He also stated on the phone that the Wii Gameflex Cartridge will be shipping at a later date. (perhaps in July)
Yet today I check my bank, and my Inspired Invoice and see that i was charged for the Gameflex cartridge and $10.64 for shipping, and of course California Sales Tax.
$227.05 total.
But I have been waiting so long, I'm not going to bitch too badly!
But I thought I would point this out to those who paid via VISA debit card.

As i have been told - they got in 300 YRG's on Tuesday June 8th, 2010.
Another batch of 300 is due to arrive next Tuesday June 15th, 2010.
600 total - and a portion of this batch is already earmarked to be shipped to EZ-Gear next week.
People who are ordering this week are already in the #560-590 numeric range.
I would assume if you order today - and you are Order number # 601 you may not get a YRG for at least another month - as part of the next production batch.
Of course this is based on rumor/innuendo/ gut instincts

I don't know why but usually my fed ex deliveries from CA can take up to 10 business days. So there is a possiblity those who ordered after me may receive before me.

Agreed - it's a definite possibility the company has got its marketing position wrong and go under. The YRG's that do get out into the wild will then start to command silly prices on eBay in a couple of years.Elantric wrote:I'd love to be proven wrong, but my take is the YRG will be rare and collectible among a cult following this time next year.
Of course, it's not our place to tell these guys what to do, but my advice was, if you want one, get in reasonably early or you may just miss the boat.

I think the individual order count is higher than that - probably aorund 100 -I imagine the rest wil be going to distributors and retailers.bigcraigie_1 wrote:So that accounts for about 25 of the 500 orders. Who has ordered the rest?

Does anyone know if you can put stickers on the fretboard to mark the dots?
I think I will order in the next couple of days. The temperamental internet here is so slow checking the demos though.

After several tries I finally made contact with Doug today and gave him my card number. Not too long after I received an email confirming shipping and my status changed to "shipped", and a tracking number was provided.
Fed Ex didn't have tracking info right away but now show they have it in hand. No delivery date yet, but it typically takes me 5 days to get a truck delivery to central Florida from California so I'm looking at the middle of next week.
Luck to all,
James

Don't B*tch; just be nice. Send Kevin a note [email] and ask him to look into it. I did that a couple/four days ago and got a response the next day removing the shipping charges. I suspect a lot of people got charged for shipping because there was a code [neverneedstuning] we were supposed to use when we ordered that somehow I did not know about... Despite reading everything I could find about it.
Luck,
James
