Vuvuzela Filtering

I just learned that Prosoniq now has a free filter plug in for the Mac that removes the Vuvuzela noise in realtime: http://www.prosoniq.com
An example audio file is at http://soundcloud.com/user7421656/vuvuzela-filter
This sounds pretty impressive.
However... I'm on a PC right now with no way to use this... maybe there is someone here who would be willing to write a free Windows plug in using their technology? I'm pretty sure they would be interested... it would get them a lot of exposure I guess...
Cheers

It won't be a simple port of the Prosoniq plugin, since that one is based on sonicWORX Isolate, which is tied to the Mac OS/X platform.tahome wrote:However... One would think that they could & SHOULD have written a Windows version of this plug-in, too, at "full speed ahead, cap'n" for exactly that reason: better exposure!tahome wrote:However... Goodness, I HATE that sound. And has anyone looked up the vuvuzela? The decibel levels are insane; we're talking MAJOR hearing damage for anyone in its immediate proximity. (Now just imagine a whole bunch of 'em being blasted around you - NONSTOP!)
I hope they're wearing earplugs at these matches -- idiots....

no, no, no, you get it all wrong... it's just a very special cultural difference the civilised west is not yet ready to face and absorb. for instance, in my village we cut all visitors balls as a sine of warm welcome. who would want to change that?androidlove wrote:+1dhalfen wrote:idiots

From what I know from coding myself as a hobbyist the DSP stuff is never platform specific. Also, the Prosoniq press release talks about the technology being available for both Win and Mac.
Any takers?

Expect a NI Alicia Bees Vuvuzela Kore pack
200 patches to provide the modern composer with an unmatched arsenal of one sound that will annoy everyone who is in hearing distance (about a 30 mile radius). Each patch is made up of 60,000 vuvuzelas with 800 distinct variations of hums from angry bees to very angry bees and even to extremely angry bees with megaphones. Each preset can be adapted to be even more annoying than the one before by using the one parameter you can change - the volume. Using the KORE 2/KORE 2 PLAYER'S intuitive interface, it's simple to turn it up to 11 until you get a noise abatement order and neighbours wanting to kill you on sight. This collection will immediately conjure up ambiences that will drive people up the wall and is full of horrific, deafening, irrtating, diabolic and edgy atmospheres, which are not for the faint hearted or anyone who has hearing.
€99

Sadly, even the best postpro filter in the world won't put players into a position to communicate with each other verbally on the field or enable fans in the arena sing complex songs. As long as these horns are blown the sport suffers.
