Brand new receptor2 Feb 2010 , guitar rig 3 ( 3.1.1.10 pre-installed ) crashes on loading some patches
Is there a fix / upgrade for this ?
The service centre has an upgrade button does this fix but how to I get the upgrade if it does ?

Rick,
What your encountering is a problem with two specific delay modules in Guitar Rig (the delay man, and tape delay). Some of the factory patches in Guitar Rig contain those, and it causes a crash. Later updates to Guitar Rig, as well as a future Receptor OS update should resolve the issue. Please feel free to go to www.plugorama.com/hd.php and open a support ticket for more details.

Oh man, I hope this gets fixed soon.
Those two delays on Guitar Rig are so good.
I wonder if there are any reliable tape delay emulators with tap tempo out there?
ephonic tape echo is a really great alternative to the Space Echo emulator in Gat Rig.

It turns out you can fix the issue by updating Guitar Rig to version 3.2.1, however that version has a bug with the 'drag' feature used to re-order modules once they've been added to your Rig. It looks like Muse Research will be looking into fixing this feature (and disregarding the crashing delay modules) so that people can just update their software version. My apologies for the bugs with this software, but hopefully doing the upgrade a bit prematurely will suffice for now.

Hi,
I have the same problem, i try to install guitar rig 3.2.1 on my receptor but two things :
The direct install only find the 3.1.1 version, ok i properly installed it.
I can see on the guitar rig board that the 3.1.1.010 version is intalled but it continue to crash in the exact same way.
thanks if you can help.
