A MU.LAB 3.1.28 application patch is available in http://www.mutools.com/mulab/patch

What's changed since the MU.LAB 3.1 release:
  • Tuned: Virtual Keyboard keys are also active when that window does not have the keyboard focus
  • Tuned: Shortcuts using the + and - keys are now saved using "Plus" and "Minus" since the + was interfering with the modifier enumeration
  • Tuned: When dropping a module on a used rack slot, proper question about deleting the original module
  • Tuned: When a track/part was pointing to target module embedded in a rack, then clicking that track/part did not always auto expand that rack
  • Tuned: When editing a name or other text string, then clicking now properly positions the editing cursor
  • Fixed: VST plugins with no custom editor did not have a program panel at the top
  • Fixed: Shortcut to VST Plugin Manager->Edit didn't work
  • Fixed: WIN: Couple of issues regarding keyboard focussing
  • Fixed: WIN: MME audio engine: bug in initializing the CPU measuring system.
This could also cause unexpected 'Overloads' on startup.

I get a crash in OSX when I try to insert my User License Key after installing 3.1.28 application patch:

1. Download MU.LAB 3.1.25 full package. Download 3.1.28 patch and drop into MU.LAB 3.1.25 folder (as usual). Launch MU.LAB, select "insert user license key", click in "user license key" window - MU.LAB CRASHES.

2. Download MU.LAB 3.1.25 full package, select "insert user license key", click in "user license key" window and paste license key. License is activated. Quit out of MU.LAB. Download 3.1.28 patch and drop into MU.LAB 3.1.25 folder. Launch MU.LAB and license is still activated - NO CRASH.

It's a bug when clicking in an empty text string editor.

Fixed in 3.1.29, available in http://www.mutools.com/mulab/patch

Thanks for reporting!
