then it would be mouse ears.

Well, the logo is temp really. It will all depend on Bulent. As I add more detials in to the areas and get them all installed things tend to change some based upon what I see there.

I have other type of logo that are in file but there no point really doing anyting about it till last.

Thanks for the comments everyone.

In the meantime, quick update: The OSX port is going real "fast". Debugging the project with Reaper right now. I'm hoping that I'll have a VSTi running without GUI tonight on OSX

Aloysius wrote:That last GUI looks impressive. The things that really bother me are;

[01] The SM2 LOGO (top right) looks like a snail.

[02] The Top of the GUI always seems unfinished looking to me. Like it needs a frame around it. I would take the top portion (simple view) of 'Tone 2 - Gladiator 2' as an example of something I think would work even better. This is the best looking top section though by far.
1. ok I changed up the logo, still temp, but I really didn't want a snail. :)

2. As I mentioned above in my previous post as I get things closer to installation they change so here's the way to the top portion is most likely going to look. I've really gone out of my way to make sure I don't include things like screws such other hardware elements in this, but as I have everything done there now there really is no room for such things. Imho, a simple roll off with the wood-ends, decoration for decorations sake, works best to be least distracting in this case, theres already many things going on up there.

I like the blue with brown/wood. All of them are an improvement I'd say over the previous skin.I'm excited to say the least.. GET SYNTHMASTER2 NOW!!

Post

I think our next task after the 2.5 release will be to release a "simplified" version of SynthMaster :D

Seriously, it's very complex.

Thanks.
Believe it or not I worked my ____ off on the V2 gui, I know it wasn't spectacular, believe me I am well aware of it, but it was in terms of what I was able to do with what I was using, the deal was I had to use only skinman and knobman by g200kg, skinman prior to the current updates which make a big difference. Various changes KV331 has made and making to the editor as well as allowing me to use whatever I wanted this time to make the gui has really helped as the current gui I think say for themselves.

Don't get me wrong with my comment above I love the work g200kg has done and offered with Skinman and knobman and I've offered many thing up in the past with both these programs for people to use or examine.

I'll get back to you on that one, I also recieved the email on it, let me finish this one up first and get the last remaining details for the other done.

I have a few ideas and we'll see if we can forge something out for that.

Wow looks amazing

BTW, I believe I am in sync on both platforms (Win/OSX), so all I have to do is to finish the remaining work on VSTGUI 3.6 (specifically mouse handlings)

Let's hope that this thing is gonna ROCK :D

glad you're cool with it. All I have to do now is get a calibration tool and make sure all the colors are correct and I get into into the current install.

This is simply stunning!!! The charcoal/orange combo was my fave, last time I saw your "drafts". Really easy on the eyes, with a prefect balance of elements.

Sweet!!!
