alpha stage? I thought they were already at beta, and now it's back to alpha? Confusing.. :P

But plugins are surely great! :D

Post

Hehe yeah, it's just the convention - beta=public testing, alpha=final. I hope that's right :D.

In the US, Alpha is before Beta :)

Pre Alpha stage> Alpha stage > Beta stage > Release

Actually those are named after the Greek letters, so alpha is the first.

But the plugins are great anyway.. :)

Hehe ok guys! Good to know! So it's not alpha, but release ;).

It could be RC =release candidate.

Btw, can you reveal what's the next new plugin in line? :)

Post

Well, it could be MMultiBandConvolution, but it may also be the secret project, as it is finally reaching some point finally :).

last night i opened up a project in Sonar 8.53 x64 that had a version of the CreativeBundle used in it (from a month ago), and now when i try to work in this project, i get a fatal error/crash, and says there is a minidump file related to the MeldaProduction software. ouch!

There has been one error reported and fixed - MReverb & MMultiBandReverb do not like mono inputs. But that's all, if that's the case, please contact me using info@meldaproduction.com and I'll give you new version. Or you can send me the project, so I can open it here and possible find the trouble.

i believe they were mono vocal tracks, but i will double check when i get back from work, and will re-contact you. but the weird thing is, is that the MeldaProductions CreativeBundle plugs LIKED mono tracks a couple weeks ago!

Yes that's true. Only reverbs are problem now, it is because the kernel has been update to support some advanced things like sidechains required for the "secret project" :). Unfortunately nobody noticed the mono-reverb problem during the beta period.

Wow....MMultiBandConvolution! This is going to work great!! I'm thinking mostly about cab IRs, but I bet it'll work great for everything!! If it includes some element of multi-band compression I think it will do what everyone always hoped "dynamic convolution" would do - but, so far, those methods never really produced the "dynamic" part to any real degree of satisfaction.
