i occasionally post pics or audio from a box i made (looks like a smily face if you remember it). three low part count chip based pulse oscs (~$1 each in parts) and breadboarded with half a dozen switches and pots. it does the non-last 5 minute parts

I've been doing a lot of research into analogue computation and things like the Lunetta synth and if I find time in the near future my next electronic project will be based on those concepts. Chaotic systems and correlated "randomness" has become an obsession as of late.

It's in the background; you have to strain to hear it. I like the lower frequencies. Reminds me of an octaver that can't track.

That's a tough question to answer. The material is there but I simply don't have the time required to put it out right. It would be a mistake for me to put any kind of timeline out right now because things are so tumultuous but suffice to say that A LA KART is not dead, just resting.

ive just tidied all my soldering gear away.
its too dangerous at the moment as i keep dropping things all the time, a soldering iron is one thing i dont want to be dropping. i just couldnt cope with seeing it all sat there, makes me sad i cant do any of the things i enjoy properly anymore

That's gotta be very frustrating. I highly encourage getting a bread boarding kit with pre-cut jumper wires or one of those radio shack electronic exploration stations. It's not as permanent as soldering but its still fun. I know all to well, the frustration you feel and unfortunately, it's only gonna get tougher over time. I can only recommend finding joy in the little things and learning not to sweat the things that are out of your hands. I'm sure you know all that but if your anything like me, it helps to be reminded on a daily basis.

oh i still do it, just not properly

yeah i have breadboards n bits so its not over completely, just the dropping a soldering iron in my lap wasnt something i could look forward to, so taking away the temptation was best

The drums are a cut up, pitched down loop from (I believe) Dusted William's set and run through DLM's dirtbox 3 and one of my poco comp/lim's and then through u-he MFM to help the tails drag out. That sample wasn't directly from one of your tracks, but I thought I would keep your sources consistent.

I was gonna add a bassline to take it over the top, but I had to get to work.

3am - older than dirt (15+ minutes of noise)
