Multisampla Free Packs For Mu.Lab 3

Hi everyone

For some time I was thinking to take a look over my sample packs and try to make them better, so here I will post some more or less "official" releases.

Installing packs:
Unzip and drop the folder into Mulab/User/Library/MuSynth

MultiSampla Rock Pack Free

Electric Guitar Power Chords
Stereo recorded Epiphone SG Special guitar. Samples at 44.1 KHz samplerate, 24 bit, stereo.
Acoustic Guitar Strums
Mono recorded Fender CD-60CE Nat major and minor chords, one strum and muted strums so you can make your own patterns. Samples at 44.1 KHz samplerate, 24 bit, mono.

Vuvuzela

Instrument sampled - Plastic Vuvuzela

Vuvuzela have several notes, can be played only on natural harmonics (like the Baroque trumpet) but I figured that might be more interesting to "stretch" it and have a more interesting virtual instrument that have more possibilities than the real one

No, the rock pack is just the same but I wanted to post everything in the same place to be found easier by new users (eventually).

However, the recorder pack is updated, with loop points and some other minor tweaks.

Added one more, the "Muted Trumpet".
It's all redone, with loop points, so now you can have really loooooong notes

Sorry to hear about your error. I can't explain it, here works fine.
Normally it should open automatically with Multisampa.

Installing in Mu.Lab:
Drop the "Bamboo" folder and the "Bamboo.MuSynth" in MULAB/User/Library/MuSynth
When you'll start the program, you'll find the patch in Synths/MUTOOLS/User

There should be a text file in the folder explaining this.

Is the crash repeatable?

That should not matter i.e. you can load them in both.

Where should I put the files?

Mulab/User/Library/MuSynth

Which MU.LAB are you using then?

Yes that could be the reason!

Please update to the latest MU.LAB 3.1.32:

1) Download from http://www.mutools.com/downloads.html and install the full package in a new folder.
2) Eventually copy your old Mulab/Settings/*.* to the new Mulab/User/Settings subfolder.
3) Run and have fun

Uploaded one more, the "Colombian Tiple".

"The Colombian tiple is an instrument of the guitar family, similar in appearance although slightly smaller than an acoustic guitar. Tiples usually have 12 strings grouped in four tripled courses, although some tiples have only ten strings.
This tiple is associated with Colombia, and is considered the national instrument. Tiple virtuoso David Pelham has this to say about the Colombian Tiple: "The tiple is a Colombian adaptation of the Renaissance Spanish vihuela brought to the New World in the 16th century by the Spanish conquistadors."

The patch is "stretched" more than the real instrument in the lower register. I did that for the purpose of playability.
On the original instrument, the lowest note is D. I "stretched" the sample to A. Seems to sound ok, at least to me.
If you are purist you can "unstretch" it
