+1

Some dullness to the knobs would fit the character more. i.e. the worn\used look

Needs some rust to go with the cracked paint. Scratches on the paint as well.

All in IMO of course.
Thanks! I'll thinks about it...

I like it...

the left and right sides have the cracking/peeling thing going on... could use a judicious bit of that in the middle area... also the top gray display is elevated so the background could use a bit of uneven dirt in the seam... same with the seam at the bottom around the 'small' and the two vertical seams from the left and right end panels. those few places look too clean compared to the age indicated by the cracking/peeling stuff...

Anyway, you are not necessarily going for 'photo-real' but those would be my suggestions..

@ Urs :

Crisp and clear reply; as usual. Highly appreciated and BIG-BIG tnx! :)
Now i understand why frame blending. Folder scan with 200/300 pngs VS 41 [8.41Mb VS 393Kb], can create significant delay with opening plugs instance. And yes, smooth transitions are kinda losted; until, cca 300+ frames are reached. :dog:
Sorry for bugging you, but still can't figure it out how [is it even possible] to restore/adjust inner and outer [when linear stops/circular starts-stops] size of knob selections. Selections are strictly related to image size boundaries? I resized knobs from 87 to 137, and all "benefit" from that was messy overlapped selections :?

@ runray :

Tnx for link, and for kind offer, but.. I must refuse..
I'm surely don't want do diss "you"; but i have one question that may sound [it's not!] like.. What's the point of reorganizing already well organized layout.. shrinking working area just to "screw in" two chunks of "empty [heat sink grill?] space"? :ud:

Here's my [just a ruff sketch] view of A :

It's OK!

These layouts for me are not very comfortable. As you can see the buttons and knobs (for example knob 'Dry/Wet', Patch/Save, Mix etc.) in different Uhbik plugins set in different places which is not very comfortable for me, so I decided to fix this.
And the main is - because it is more interesting than just re-draw skins. :D

@ unangular, I'm really digging the new design. I just love how clean it looks. :)

Tnx. :)

Here's some minor "update" :

good work guys. maybe I'm hard to please but I find runray's design too 'dirty' and unangular's too 'clean'. lol.

maybe I'm just getting used to Urs' orginal design but it's still the one I like the most out of the three. keep up the work guys, it's always good to have the choice though. the more choice you have, the more people are happy :)

Great work, looking forward to the others too.

Not wishing to spoil anything, but will they scale down/up to the different sizes?

What I would really like to see is "small" / "tiny" GUIs with readable text fonts.

If I understood you correctly for all I know there only one image for different sizes...

I afraid its impossible because then text fonts should be huge, so they will be readable when getting small.

I attached an image of Uhbik-A (see it below) in a small size. And old image to compare. I think its optimal text font size for all scales. Hope you like it.

I really dig your last version the best. I miss some of the grit of the older ones, and the labels need to be better presented, but other than that, its all good.

I like both your designs. I really like the old knobs, they have this high quality minimal look that vaguely reminds me of SPL hardware.

The new ones remind me of car tires.

The small knobs look "cheap" next to the fantastic larger knobs.

I like the darker overall background of the new one, and the more noticeable inset of the knobs. Actually the first one you posted (the "aliasing" one) is my favorite..

I feel like the patch display area should be better integrated with the rest of the interface.

The logo should also be integrated better overall with the plugin, the fancy text doesn't go at all for instance.

I like it overall. And of course these are just suggestions. :)
